Make sure you find a doc who will take a pic of your retina. Costs about $20 and Dr. Gordon on sources has the machine. Detects retinal tumours which could be deadly. Trying to educate the world as I had one 3 years ago with zero symptoms.

Looking for an eye doctor who specializes in Macular Degeneration and Retinal diseases....
Debbie K. replied:
Have you tried Dr. David Silver? He has an office in the west island and also on Cote Des Neiges.
Jon A. replied:
You will have to go see an optomitrist ( Dr. Silver in the west island for example ) & he would then send you to a retinal specialist if need be. ( Dr. Michael Kapusta Ophtalmologist in chief at the jewish opperated my father a few months ago for a retinal detachment)
I really like Dr. Lori Medoff at Harry Toulch on Greene. Good with kids too. But know that the eyeglasses there are designer brands so maybe take your prescription and fill it elsewhere. Kath says Costco is an economical place to buy glasses.
