Any primary care doctors on here that can see patients with the Cigna Silver plan? I'm tired of calling ppl & they tell me they're booked & no I don't wanna drive...
Barbara M. replied:
Try Dr Thomas Dinella or some else in that practice 615 391 3971
Donna T. replied:
Try Dr. Angela Willis at Summit.
Ted H. replied:
Have you tried Summit Primary Care? I see Dr. John Scott Major, but I can't speak to which insurance they take.
Ross R. replied:
I would bet your insurance only covers the nonprofit hospital networks like Vanderbilt or St. Thomas. Those docs are slammed and overbooked because those with bronze and silver plans (most of us) have to go there. The Tristar hospitals are for profit, and generally are out of network for the lower plan tiers, but they can see you right away. I'm sure you have seen those billboards claiming 3 minute wait times, while us proles have to sit at Vanderbilt er for hours. They claim universal healthcare would lead to rationing. I would argue that for most of us, it already is. TL:DR try heritage medical group in green hills. They can likely get you in and in network.

I have the Cigna silver plan and I can only go to HCA hospitals. Heritage Medical at Summit takes Cigna.
Alright guys, need a recommendation for a Urologist in the Ft. Worth area. So, like the title says, any of you guys have a name of a Urologist you've used and would...
loserfame replied:
The urologist I saw retired, but the Urology Associates of North Texas (UANT) office in the Harris medical center has some good doctors.

I use to work in surgery and let me tell you driving a little extra for a one time surgery is worth it. Check out Henry Wong he works in weatherford and Granbury. He is legit. Cool, calm, and super professional. Always came off very intelligent. PM me if you have any more questions.

I'm in NE Tarrant as well, and my doctor recommended Dr. Bamberger, who's down in the medical district south of 30 in downtown Fort Worth. I'm really glad he did -- he was fantastic. Put me at ease very quickly, took the time to answer all my questions, and everything turned out excellent. I also thought he was funny as hell, too. During the initial consult: "Okay, drop 'em. I need to check things out; if you got four balls, I gotta charge you double."

I went through Dr. Ravi Mootha, http://www.drmootha.com/ $750 bucks and about 15 -20 minute procedure.

We actually just went to our family Dr. And he performed the job. If you have a family doctor you may want to see if they small outpatient procedures like that.
Ok another question for my Indiana friends. I'm also looking for a Urologist. It's pretty urgent I try and get one soon. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations?...

If you didn't move away you could go to Dr Zucker. We know he is awesome!!
