Rachelle A. replied:
Dr. Craig Wierum is on of the top endrocrins in Nashville...I saw him when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant and had a brain tumor in my pituitary gland. He was so kind and sweet and took wonderful care of me. He even can to the hospital when I was in labor with my son to make sure I was doing ok. I would never see any other endocrinologist then him!!!
Karen C. replied:
Dr. Interlandi at Summit. He is great

Are there any diabetics in here who have a great doctor they love? I have been on the hunt for a new endocrinologist for several years. I rely on insulin, but I do take...
Need recommendations for a Endocrinologist, specializing in Thyroid dx. Thanks!
Michelle T. replied:
Dr. John Interlandi. He is in Summit Hospital. 871-7258. I have Hashimoto’s disease and have had thyroid problems for about 10 years. I went to another endo previously. When I got pregnant, I was treated by my OB and PCP as the endo requested. I never went back because that endo was not comfortable and didn't care as much as I thought she should. Dr. Interlandi is fantastic. He really cares about you and how you are feeling, not just what the test results show. I highly recommend him!
Amanda N. replied:
I've heard Dr Snow was good. I was curious if you would get lost in the crowd with all the patient's they see there. So that is good to know.
Shirley D. replied:
I drive from Lebanon to see Dr. Snow & most times it takes me longer to drive there than it does for my appointment. I think I have waited one time since I started seeing him last May. They do their ultrasounds & blood work there in the office. I never feel rushed out of there. Amanda feel free to private message me with any questions you may have.
Amy D. replied:
Dr. John Interlandi gets my vote too!! He is AWESOME!

I am sitting at Dr Babas office here in jackson. Have you tried him?
Julie H. replied:
Pediatric or adult. Think we can go either way. Lisa Hillhouse Decker
Michelle T. replied:
Lee just started seeing the new endocrinologist at The Jackson Clinic. He felt he was thorough & nice. I do not recommend Dr. Baba or Dr. Khayal. These recommendations are also those of good physicians I trust.
MaryBeth W. replied:
Lisa Hillhouse Decker who first diagnosed your daughter with Cushing's? They are wanting to do some testing on my daughter and that's one thing she mentioned. Also want to check for PCOS. Any info you can offer would be very helpful.
Hello! Can anyone recommend an English-speaking endocrinologist? Many thanks!
Peter L. replied:
I'm sorry if I cannot give you specific recommendations, but if you are close to the EU quarter, try phoning the endocrinology department at Clinique Leopold and asking whether any doctor speaks English (can be expensive though). http://parc-leopold.chirec.be/en/nos-services/800091-endocrinology/
Peter L. replied:
Alternatively, try Saint-Michel in Etterbeek. I have had good experiences there (but not endocrinology, sorry). http://www.europehospitals.be/stmichel/en/d/1867
Any suggestions for a great endocrinologist either in the area or Nashville area?
Shani D. replied:
Dr Julie Hendrix in cool springs is awesome!
Mary L. replied:
I have been to Dr. John Interlandi. He's in Hermitage@Summit on Frist Blvd. 871-7258. He was very comforting, explained things well and his staff was great.
Jennifer H. replied:
I've heard from several people that you can't get in to see Dr. Interlandi anymore. Fortunately, I'm already a patient but my neighbor couldn't get in or my sister-in-law
Mindy H. replied:
If it's for a child, Dr. Bremer at Vandy is great!
Sara B. replied:
I go to Vanderbilt, they have an adult and a pediatric diabetes center. I know some don't like to make the drive but Dr. Bao is great and I like it there. I just demo'ed a brand new insulin pump (t:slim) there and it's awesome! They are very knowledgable about new treatments and technologies.
Terry S. replied:
Depends on your focus. But I see Dr Lakhani at Vanderbilt for thyroid stuff.
Searching for doctors is such a tedious and time consuming task... I have been trying but websites just cannot be trusted anymore. :( Any recommendations on a primary...
Megan J. replied:
Mindy Hamby for primary care
Ted H. replied:
Dr. John Scott Major@Summit Primary Care615-883-2331. That's where Dr. Hamby is also, but Dr. Major is probably uniquely qualified for you if you also need an Endo. Wouldn't hurt to ask him.
Terrika L. replied:
Linda Byrd is awesome. She's a NP but I absolutely love her
Does anyone know of a great endocrinologist in Nashville? I have one in Murfreesboro but frankly I loathe the drive there. I'd like to build a great medical team locally.
Ted H. replied:
The "Head Coach" of my medical team is Dr. John Scott Major at Summit Primary Care. I think you would find him uniquely qualified to look after your care as well. At least contact him to discuss. 615-883-2331

Tina K. replied:
I've just started seeing Dr. Emily Neely, but she's out at Centennial. I may actually have my diabetes under control for the first time in 25 years since seeing her. I'm sure she could help with your thyroid also. And they take BCBS.
