In search of childcare options in the East Bay, ideally a group setting. Any suggestions? Also need a new individual sitter/nanny as ours is leaving town.

Check out Monte Tavor in Oakland. Maddy went there for 5 years. Run and owned by a family. 2 houses. Bilingual. Maddy came out speaking English and Spanish fluently. They have chickens and organic garden and she really learned so much about gardening there. Very sweet place. We still visit sometimes.

Does anyone know of any TOP NOTCH child care facilities for a 2-month old? Michael Austin and I are exploring our options. Thank u!
Channon M. replied:
I'm CPR certified for infants, adults & children. In Child Development courses, considering Nanny/Childcare because raising my brother & sister so early gave me a real love for babies. Whats more is I lived in Fremont, ovee time becoming fluent in ASL, but I'm able focus on just ONE baby, giving exclusive & specific care at a decent rate. Ryan Austin

Feeling frustrated with my (lack of) preschool options. Anyone have any good ideas? I need temporary childcare from April - August - 3 days per week.

Yukei Oceguera - she rubs a family daycare in the Fruitvale/Diamond. Love her! Let me know if you need contact info
Elisa D. replied:
Temple Sinai. Not at all logistically convenient due to location for your Alameda selves, butttt They just split B's class in two and are accepting more littles mid-year (which they usually don't) Through the end of the school year. Then they run a summer camp that you can choose week to week through August.
