I'm so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I go to great homeopathic clinic on Piedmont. I get Vitamin B shots there but they offer a bunch of other services you may want to see what they can do as far as vitamin therapy or nutritional services. http://www.originhealthcenter.com/

Hi Diana. I totally commend you on your approach. The attitude that you have will go a long way in the healing process. It looks like you have some great referrals, but I'd like to recommend my acupuncturist as well. She does therapeutic massage and will incorporate it into acupuncture/cupping/moxa/etc. She is one of the most accessible practitioners I've ever been to and makes me 100% comfortable. She evaluates the whole of her patients, taking way more than just pulses and symptoms into account. Funny thing is that for some bizarro reason, I was talking to her recently about how she deals with cancer and I really loved her approach. Her name is Lynda Vigil: lyndavigil@gmail.com. Best of luck to you!

Recommendations Navi Thach?

For the lake, I recommend Left Coast Power Yoga on Grand - I like Rachel, Whitney and Julia. Rachel's classes are a athletic but kind flow, while Whitney sees yoga from a kinesthetic prospective, and Julia's classes are more low and slow for unwinding. Namaste is also a solid, but pricey pick, I haven't taken Poh's class but I've been to Ashley Sharp and Dave Moreno's classes and they are great. I also taken Sparkle Thorton and Skeeter's classes. I'm a power/vinyasa flow type of person, I haven't dipped too much into hatha or kundalini yoga.
Is there a yoga instructor in the Oakland area who'd be willing to volunteer at a homeless & trafficked youth shelter by doing a class one or two Saturdays a month?
