Hello everyone. My husband and I are expecting our first child at the end of September. We just moved here from Daly City last September and we are still getting to know...

Check with Solano Family first, get a free personalized referral. Start your search soon, not all providers accept infants and those that do are limited by licensing to a very small number of infants. Loida, above, posted a link. Also, don't forget to call licensing to get information on any and every provider you consider. SFCS will give you all the info you need. ☺

My friend Channa Booker does 24/7 daycare for reasonable rates out of her home here on Valle Vista Ave. And she uses all chemical free products in the home https://www.facebook.com/20Four.org?fref=ts

Solonofamily.org is GREAT! I found an amazing daycare provider for my then 3 month old, he's now 6 months & he loves them & vice versa. I wish they had room for an infant, but you never know. They're Garcia family daycare.

Congrats! We had the same idea but my wife decided it's not for her 6 months in. You should join Golden Gate Mothers Group, it's worth the $70/year to connect with pretty much all the others moms of babies and toddlers in SF. And ask there. Also the religion specific daycares are cheaper. We sent to a Jewish one which was like $1000/mo I think. Babysitters are more expensive here than anywhere else, GGMG is a good resource for that but also care.com.

You might contact [Children's Council](http://www.childrenscouncil.org) to see what resources they have. Also check on your local [Nextdoor](http://nextdoor.com) to see if anyone local to you has suggestions.

No doubt it's hard to make it financially in this city with kids. We've got twins, so double whammy. We found a really reasonable (by local standards) preschool for our kids. It's around $4,000/semester, M-F, 8:30-12:30 with aftercare until 2:30 available for a reasonable add-on. And we really, really like the place. Word-of-mouth place on the north side of the city, let me know if you're interested.
Suggestions, recommendations or warnings are encouraged. Tyson will be doing some Central Perk walks in the coming weeks. But on a couple of days he will need to be in...

I am considering Community Nursery School in Metuchen. Felt very good there and very reason able pricing. I am still looking around (for my 4 yr old), but pretty sure that is where he will go.

John Kenney, great program and teachers. Also subsidized for Edison residents. Near Middlesex CC

My children went to Community Nursery School in Metuchen and they loved it, but that was years ago. My daughters work at Wellesley Preschool in Edison (might be Woodbridge, but by inches). They run some very nice programs year-round.

hi does anyone know if there is there a gym in sarina that has day care facilities available?
Vicky C. replied:
They have a Facebook page...or you can call them on 49 564 210. Phil, Peta, Sue or Kylie would love to show you around so you get a feel for the place. Fully air conditioned (great for the stinky hot summer) training room, weights room and equipment room. Treadmills have iPod docks and the big screen TV's are great for motivational music clips. More and more people joining every week...

P & K Training at Alligator Creek...just like a big family. I have dropped 65 kgs and kept it off since going there. Inspirational trainers and always new classes being added. Bikram Yoga starting this week. I usually join gyms and lose interest after a few months, but I love this place. If I miss a day I feel like crap and can't wait to get back. We train hard and still have fun doing it..
