I heard a hilarious story from an uber driver that passengers tried to load a queen mattress into his uber XL minivan. But that's not a serious suggestion. You could look at vrtucar, I've used their Nissan cargo van to move queen mattresses, although it may not fit a king. It's a great service for someone who doesn't own a car.

Rent a van from Home Depot, will cost about $30 for 90 mins EDIT- not sure how the insurance works if you dont have a car, maybe make someone who has a car and insurance rent it for you
