I recommend Dr Bridgman at the Davies Clinic here in Canby, she is awesome and really listens and cares. There phone number is 503-266-2066. As far as Nails go don't go to Nails 2000 in the fred meyer plaza, they have several complaints. I used to use (haven't had nails done for awhile) Canby Nails on hwy 99 over next door to Les Swab.

Hi Lisa! I own Abundance of Love Pet Services and although I don't board dogs in my home, I do offer Pet Visits to your home as well as Overnight Pet Sitting. I have found that these solutions are less stressful on the pet and allows them to maintain their normal schedule. I am based here in Canby. If you prefer boarding, I recommend Brody's Doghouse. Feel free to check out my website or contact me directly if you have any questions. Welcome to Canby! You'll love it so much here that you'll never want to leave!:-) www.AbundanceOfLovePetServices.com

Hey, Portland!
Because of changes in my health insurance, I need to find a new doctor.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good internist?
Lynnfinity A. replied:
Yep, they can! Here's an article...holy crap that's scary!!! Only in Oregon, thankfully. They are still extremely limited in what they can prescribe, thank gawd, with very little training. http://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/naturopathic-prescribing-the-dark-side-beckons/

Rachel Merideth ND Receptive Medicine
Willa D. replied:
Lynnfinity AndBeyond -- in Oregon, NDs have to pass the medical boards. They are fully licensed doctors. Doesn't California require this? I see an MD because my health insurance doesn't cover NDs but about 10 years ago an ND saved my life in a very immediate way when my MD's (in)actions almost killed me. There's a place for both in health.
Dear Portland Area Friends on Facebook,
Brad and I are in the looking stage for a new primary care doctor. We would prefer an MD of Internal Medicine, ie. an Internist....
Lisa D. replied:
Edward Chaplain cares for our family. His office is on the Providence campus
Norma B. replied:
Dr, Barbara Esselink, Providence Gateway Clinic. She is a good listener. Never in a hurry.
Susan W. replied:
I highly recommend my cousin, Janis Howatt. She's at Broadway Medical Clinic which would be handy for you. She's an internist.
I'm on a search for a new GP (family medicine or internist) in the Portland area. I did HOURS of searching, found someone who sounded good, only to find out she's not...
