Call Dr. Minga Guererro, D.C. for recommendation. She is literally the best Chiropractor and she works closely with several neurologists. I've worked with her since 2000 and she has worked with various neurologists I've seen following MVAs. There are a couple REALLY good ones in PDX. Unfortunately the one I loved the most passed a few years back. But Dr. G will know. (503) 669-1966. Good luck!

Karen, I'm so sorry to hear about your son. Here is some information about VN: http://vestibular.org/labyrinthitis-and-vestibular-neuritis. Please keep in mind that VN is often the first diagnosis given to complicated vestibular patients. You might check with your doctor to see how much experience they have with vestibular disorders. It may be prudent to get a second opinion by a trained vestibular specialist: http://vestibular.org/finding-help-support/provider-directory. I hope this is helpful.

Dr. Oisin O'Neill was Matt's neuro during his brain hemorrhage ordeal. He is highly regarded. Maybe not the best bedside manners but neurologists are a different breed of dr. in general.

I see Kevin Jamison (has an office in Oregon City) - great bedside manner, but don't know much about him when it comes to the serious stuff.

Dr Kyle Smoot at Providence Multiple Sclerosis Center, he's a super star to me.

Dr. Kimberly Goslin who I think is now at Providence. She is known as the best.

Dr. Jennifer Huffman was Ciara's but she is at Emanuel Children's hospital. She has a great bedside manner but deals with kids.

If you're new to chiari, you don't yet know that it is well worth it to travel to find a good doc that actually specializes in chiari. With that being said, may I suggest Dr. Oro in Aurora, CO. Google him and his facility. Good luck!
