A 30 minute introduction to homeopathy, made by the BBC in the 1990 s. It so impressed the British Medical Association that they gave it their "Medicine in the Media" Gold Award - the BMA's highest possible accolade. Since the film was made, four major reviews of the clinical data for homeopathy have confirmed that homeopathy works, despite the fact that its mode of action is hard to explain in terms of current scientific theory. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xk45 kr_homeopathy-medicine-or-magic_tech

Has anyone used any of the following Pediatricians for a newborn and can give me your feedback?
MUDr. Miriam Gotzova - Italská 3 Praha 2
MUDr. Barbara Taušová -...
Jennifer H. replied:
Www.znamylekar.cz but please don't depend too much on Google Translate - it has a tendency to translate the opposite of what it really says :-)
Amy B. replied:
Great, thanks! I'll check her out. A little far for us, but if she is that great, maybe worth it. I tried googling her and only came up with a MUDr. Michael Trnkova, which I assume is a man, but his address is Brevnov. Right person? Do you have a website or phone number for Dr. Trnkova?
Janice W. replied:
Very happy with Dr. Tausova; she's been our daughter's pediatrician for over 13 years. We go to her at CMC in P6.
Chris G. replied:
Found by chance because he is close to us in Nusle is MUDr. Jaromír Vomáčka, MD, MPH, DTM&H Slovanské pojišťovny 3, 140 00, Praha 4 (10 minutes walk from Pankrac metro / easy & free street parking) Telefon: +420 241 413 226 E-mail: jarov2 k@yahoo.com He has been excellent with our son from newborn to now 3.5. Czech & South African qualifications & experience - speaks good English (nurse does not). Accepts Czech insurance. You can find more information about him in English on the Canadian Medical Centre's web site as he also works there if you want to pay!
Joy B. replied:
We use Dr. Trnkova in Brevnov and seriously she is great.
Erez K. replied:
Thumbs up for Dr Trnkova as well. There is another Dr in that clinic, Adriana (her last name escapes me) who is great. Everyone there, including the nurse and secretary, speak English well. I tried to go with my children to non-English-speakeing doctors with our nanny acting as a translator and it was a disaster.
Amy B. replied:
Joy and Erez, does Dr. Trnkova take PVZP insurance (private insurance, not the public system)? The list of doctors are supposedly all people that take this insurance and speak English. Erez, your children also have PVZP right?? So would be very happy to hear your recommendations!

I know a great GP who is qualified in homeopathy. One of the few that actually tries to get to the bottom of issues rather than throw drugs at problems. Not necessarily a paediatrician in vinohrady but a great source of information and worth the visit http://www.expats.cz/prague/czech/clinics/drgrohova/

Hi guys, do you know pediatricians who speak English near P6 or P1,P2 that will accept Public insurance with out any fees?
Michelle L. replied:
Junior Alberto Espinal: This place was recommended to us by Winnie's skolka, but they did not have any openings when we called last year so we go to CMC now. I'm not sure if they take public insurance, but I saw that their prices are listed online: http://poliklinika.agel.cz/praha/ambulance/lekar-pro-deti-a-dorost.html
