Great, thanks! I'll check her out. A little far for us, but if she is that great, maybe worth it. I tried googling her and only came up with a MUDr. Michael Trnkova, which I assume is a man, but his address is Brevnov. Right person? Do you have a website or phone number for Dr. Trnkova?

Very happy with Dr. Tausova; she's been our daughter's pediatrician for over 13 years. We go to her at CMC in P6.

Found by chance because he is close to us in Nusle is MUDr. Jaromír Vomáčka, MD, MPH, DTM&H Slovanské pojišťovny 3, 140 00, Praha 4 (10 minutes walk from Pankrac metro / easy & free street parking) Telefon: +420 241 413 226 E-mail: jarov2 k@yahoo.com He has been excellent with our son from newborn to now 3.5. Czech & South African qualifications & experience - speaks good English (nurse does not). Accepts Czech insurance. You can find more information about him in English on the Canadian Medical Centre's web site as he also works there if you want to pay!

We use Dr. Trnkova in Brevnov and seriously she is great.

Thumbs up for Dr Trnkova as well. There is another Dr in that clinic, Adriana (her last name escapes me) who is great. Everyone there, including the nurse and secretary, speak English well. I tried to go with my children to non-English-speakeing doctors with our nanny acting as a translator and it was a disaster.

Joy and Erez, does Dr. Trnkova take PVZP insurance (private insurance, not the public system)? The list of doctors are supposedly all people that take this insurance and speak English. Erez, your children also have PVZP right?? So would be very happy to hear your recommendations!

Our fluent English-speaking & excellent paediatrician works at CMC. He also has his own place in Nusle, Prague 4 where he takes VZP (essential for us!). I know a great GP who is qualified in homeopathy. One of the few that actually tries to get to the bottom of issues rather than throw drugs at problems. Prim Dr. Fruhauf is really good and also takes appointments at Hamolka hospital on Saturdays.It is much faster to get an appointment there.

We go to MUDr Jana Babankova. If you can search on the bumps babies and tots fb page some have been recommended in a previous post.
