My daughter is looking for a good FEMALE gynecologist in or around Wake Forest. Saw a post before but can't find it now. Thanks.

Tammy Hilbert - http://glsi.info/ - All female gynecologists and wonderful place!

I agree. Kamm Mckenzie are the best. All of my friends go see them too. They are wonderful.
Kristen G. replied:
I love Kamm McKenzie as well. They delivered my first two children, and I am currently seeing them with my third pregnancy. I have several friends who go to them, and they all love them. Can't recommend them enough.
Debbie N. replied:
http://www.wakemedphysicians.com/MargueritteGilkeyMD she is super!
Nurah A. replied:
If it's just for the "GYN" part, I use the lady doctor at primary care partners. Its a husband and wife team, and I just make an appointment with the wife. She's wonderful. http://www.pcpligonmill.com/
Stephanie S. replied:
I chose Kamm McKenzie because of their affiliation with WakeMed and WakeMed's NICU. I knew that if something happened while pregnant, this is where I wanted to be. I LOVE the practice and while Rex's OB center is more posh, that wasn't top priority.
Julie W. replied:
Dr Gunter Blue Ridge OBGYN on Durant, part of Rex. He just delivered my baby a couple weeks ago.
Robin P. replied:
Dr. Gunter at Blue Ridge OBGYN... but do NOT go to Dr. Corvin at that office... she is not a good one at all!!
Tamera C. replied:
I love Atrium Ob/Gyn in Raleigh near Rex Hospital. The doctor that delivered my son is retired but all the others were great and super caring about me during the last part of my pregnancy when everything seemed to go wrong.
Hey NYC laides - can you please help a friend of mine who needs OBGYN in the city (not brooklyn)? she lives in Manhattan - nicest (and professional) ones out there ;-) ...

I need recommendations for a dentist, gynecologist, and eye doctor in the FV area. I love our doctors in Cary but we need to see people closer to home.
Amy S. replied:
We all see Dr. Azeem. She's in HS (sunset/HS Rd. next to Harris Teeter) She also sees the girls for sick visits. Never have a hard time getting an appt and unlike their ped. doc, she doesn't do the 'lets let them run a fever for 7 days before I give you something' http://www.trianglefamilymedicine.com/
Stacy B. replied:
Kerri - I like Dr Devente at Fuquay Family Practice for my Primary. I've used magnolia for some gp stuff too and was pleased.
Melissa D. replied:
Fuquay Family Dentistry, others are in Cary.
Lucy C. replied:
We go to Huff and Huff Dentistry and they are wonderful!!
Susan C. replied:
Love Huff & Huff Dentistry also. And I also go to Magnolia Women's Health in HS. LOVE THEM!!! Only if you are done having kids though b/c they are just GYN but LOVE! I need an eye doctor too so I'm looking at the responses.
Kerri K. replied:
Main Street Dental in Holly Springs is awesome!!!
Bethany W. replied:
Wayne and I go to Fuquay Family Practice too and like Dr Devente
Stacy B. replied:
Dentist- Fuquay family dentistry on Judd. Love them even for the kids. Eye dr- we liked dr Vito by lowes in HS but stopped taking our insurance. So we are now at Carolina family vision by HS Harris teeter. No complaints. Gyn- I'm done having kids so I go to magnolia women's health in HS. By homegrown pizza.
Susan C. replied:
Elizabeth Overman-Julie Keeler. I absolutely love her!
Tim J. replied:
Dr Hamby for the teeth.
John C. replied:
Dr. Bob Johnson Johnson Optometric Associates is a great guy and I was happy with them, but started seeing Aaron B Glass who works with My Eyes Optometry, but I think he works primarily in the Lillington office. For dentist, I see Dr. McConnell here in FV.
Mickie S. replied:
I've always gone to Eye Care Associates. I used to drive out to Raleigh to go to the same dr as in high school but switched when they opened the garner office in white oak. Been happy with them for years.
Could you recommend a good female gynecologist in the Raleigh/Cary area? Queer-friendly (if known) is preferred. :) Thanks!

Maggie M. replied:
Hi Morgan, I saw someone posted about Planned Parenthood. I used to go to the one in Chapel Hill and had really good experiences there (I donate annually to the org), but have since had really bad experiences at the one in Raleigh. I don't like that PP only lets you get a pap once every 3 years (even though most insurance providers will let you get one every year) and really hated the way they treated me (if you want details feel free to message me - it was traumatizing). I decided that since I will be in Raleigh for a while to get a regular GYN. I now go to Wellness Family Practice in Cary (its not too far out, and well worth it), and see Dr. Kati E. Dessauer! The practice is one of the best in the nation, and has awesome yelp reviews. http://www.yelp.com/biz/wellness-family-practice-pa-cary if you're interested, you can tell them I recommended you! As to being queer-friendly, i'm not sure about that, but I'm sure you could ask!
Jeannie H. replied:

Does anyone have a local(ish) gynecologist that also manages their thyroid? Thanks :) it would be nice to kill two birds with one stone if I could.
MaryAnn B. replied:
I go to Dr. Sol Gazzingan and she is great!! I never had problems controlling my thyroid till last year and she was great with finally getting my level where it needed to be. I wanted a second opinion so asked to go see a specialist and they agreed with what she had recommended. I've never heard of Armour?
MaryAnn B. replied:
Dr. G also does pap smears and she spends a lot of time with you and listens. I'll have to ask her about Armour the next time I go.
Amy A. replied:
Jennifer mine is too...I think it's Raleigh Endocrine. Dr. Stall.
Lindsay H. replied:
(But yes....... if you want local/closer than Rex...... Raleigh Endo is a good place to go.......)...
Jennifer F. replied:
Hmmm...ok. Will check into that. Dr Becker has never offered that option.
Pat P. replied:
Dr Jenna hough at village is also wonderful.
Esther J. replied:
I'm in near WF but I'm with Mary Ann. Dr. Sol is an amazing Dr. who has treated me for everything without needing specialists. Try her and u'll stick w her.
Julie R. replied:
Cynthia Saaks at Kam-mcKenzie off Durant has always done mine....she's fantastic but I'm sure anyone in that practice would be also.
I am trying again. Almost all contacts below don't get new clients or don't work with my friend's insurance. Can you please help a friend of mine who needs OBGYN in the...

Rex hospital is amazing. There are always plenty of nurses to take care of your every need and its sob nice out there. And great doctors. Wilkerson OBGYN is my doctor, they are connected to rex hospital and I love them. I never wait long at my appointments and they are very nice. I highly reccomend them. And capitol pediatrics for after she is born.
