Hi Natalie, I own Design Works. Thanks for the mention, Mike! I'll be happy to take a look at this for you. The best course will be a combination of submitting your site to search engines and optimizing text, titles, etc. A tip for all of you business owners: the quickest way to the first page of Google and Bing is to register your business with Bing Places and Google Places. If you're registered, your business name and contact will be displayed at the top of the search results, ahead of other websites (along with a map pin-pointing your location.). Let us know if you would like me to take a look at your site, Natalie. 919.671.6250. Www.designworksbranding.com

Take a look at Google AdWords. Do your research online first before paying someone to do something you can do yourself

Julia O. replied:
@Brett, your Places listing does not rely on keyword density at all. Your website's ranking does, but your Places listing does not. Your appearance in the Places list is determined by a few factors, most of which are easily controlled. Here's a link to a quick read for anyone who's interested in the topic: http://www.egumball.com/google_places_how_does_it_work.html Brett, if you want to PM me, feel free! I didn't intend to hi-jack the thread!
Natalie R. replied:
Thank you so much for these helpful pieces if advice and people for us to contact! I knew I could count on this group (first post)! I'm passing everything on to a colleague who is more up to speed on what we've done and what we need. We'll definitely look at registering with Google places and Bing places. I don't think we're interested in Google ads bc of the recurring cost. We just want to find our way back into the good position in searches that we lost when we redesigned! www.gmhpsych.com
Larry S. replied:
I do that work for small businesses. You have to identify what you want to found for on Google. If all you want is for your site to be found when someone searches for your actual practice name, there are a series of one time things you can do. If you want to be found for "psychologist" it is a long term process that usually takes months to show first page results. Faster, but more expensive path to page 1 is Google AdWords. Let me know if I can help.
Dawn C. replied:
Natalie Ruth as a fellow website owner we have done the same too. If someone did your transition for you, they should be doing some stuff for you like 301 redirects, I'd start there if there was a company involved in moving you.

Fast Braiin at Growing Child Peds. Dr. Poole or Dr. Katz BTW...it is more of an evaluation, questions, interviews, history, etc. ADHD/ADD is not a "cookie-cutter" situation. Nor is the treatment. If you find that your child does fall into this spectrum then consider all avenues available - medication, diet, behavioral counseling, schedule/behavior changes at home, etc. If someone wants to toss meds at her and send you on your way, find a new provider.

Second Carolina Partners. If you don't have insurance/can't afford a psychologist, then you should give Alliance Behavioral Health a call.
TrudyAttitudy replied:
Hey there! As cliche as it sounds, you've taken a great first step. Having the self awareness to recognize that you need a little help is a big deal! As someone who suffers from anxiety and depression it's hard realizing you can't do it on your own. I've had great experiences at Carolina Partners (except with one doctor - Dr. Crenshaw). I see Dr. Cassidy and never feel rushed or hurried along, in fact she's usually running behind schedule because she takes so much time and care with her patients. They are a large network and have offices in Cary and Raleigh and can usually get you in quickly and refer you to someone else in their office for another service. For example, you may have one doctor regulating your medication while you see another for CBT. Keep your head up and be kind to yourself while you wait for an appointment (no matter where you go).
themorganshow replied:
I work for carolina partners as an office manager. Please dont get discouraged. I can suggest several good doctors by name. Message me if you need more info, I also have info on other practices. Hang in there.
