I know a local Real Estate Attorney and also avid Redditor if you are interested, I can connect the two of you. I wouldn't want to identify him on here for purposes of Reddit Anonymity so PM me if you'd like his information. I'm surprised he hasn't responded to this post.

Blake T Webber has handled mine and all my friends closings. Give him a call. He was prompt, courteous and certainly knows what he's doing. He is pretty young for an attorney so his rate was good (this was 2 years ago) Edit: His website: http://www.blaketwebber.com/

I used Gallo & Iacovangelo for my first house in 2007 and was very happy with them. Used the same attorney in 2012 and was underwhelmed.

I've used Bill Creary in the Village of Pittsford for both my business lease and home buying. He's excellent: Phone: (585) 586-8480 Fax: (585) 586-8097 Mail: info@crearylaw.com [Creary Law](http://www.crearylaw.com)

Not sure how the cost compares, but we used [Jim Cummings](http://jclegal.com/) for our title insurance and closing when we bought our first home a few years ago. We had a very positive experience with him.

Have used Alison Rich from Evans Fox with great success. Highly suggest you go that way.

Deborah Schaal has handled two purchases for me. She put in effort when the bank's attorney showed up completely unprepared to my latest closing (a foreclosure auction purchase), calling around to gather the required paperwork, etc. Reasonable fees in the $300-$500 range. She gets my recommendation.

NOT Underberg & Kessler. They tried to push me into a deal where the mortgage products were changed on me at the last minute into a much higher interest rate. They didn't care... they just wanted their commission and said refinance later. Walking away from that deal was the smartest thing I ever did.
