I can recommend San Francisco Veterinary Specialists as a specialty clinic - if they're not convenient for you, call them and request a recommendation for a cardiologist closer to you - there'll gladly give you a good one And good luck!!

Dr. Andrew Waxman is a cardiologist with Sage Center and treated two of my cats. Very caring and knowledgeable. He even personally does follow up calls. Highly recommend. Works from their Concord and Dublin offices. Have been to UCD, did not like. Felt too long a toll on my kitties with all the waiting.
