Hi, we used the South Elgin Park District PreSchool Pals program for both my kids. They start at 2 but by age 3, they need to potty trained. Sign up is late Jan/early Feb. Registration is first come and first served (go in person!) for next fall. They have 2 days a week and 3 days a week, 2 hrs each day. http://www.southelgin.com/index.asp?SEC=84651F4A-147C-47BC-8A5E-AF2B6F71ABC4&Type=B_BASIC

Geneva Lutheran has an amazing moms day out program! All 3 of my children went there! All teachers are great!! You can pick up to 2 days for 3 hours. They do not have to be potty trained. They have great play rooms, always do crafts, circle/ story time, sing and also have a big area down stairs with tricycles and cars to play with.
Paige K. replied:
For most schools, they need to be potty trained. Geneva Lutheran has an awesome PDO program. You can go up to 2 days a week and it is offered everyday 9:30-12:30 or 10-1. They accept children who are not potty trained. If you are interested, call Kim at 232-7085
I second Jane Harland's comment with Swing Set. My kids went there and they loved it. I attend Hosanna Lutheran and they have a wonderful program as well!! Good luck.

They've just started preschools in the school system here, Maureen. You might want to check the CUSD 303 website for information there. Because preschool was always an outside source of education here, we chose Faith Christian Preschool in Geneva for our kids. They're very good about finding balance with activities and making sure your child has a good baseline. The Park District here also has a Preschool - pretty sure that fills up quickly. Good luck and welcome to St. Charles.
