Endocrinologist Recommendations? Wife is hypothyroid (and pregnant). We're in between OBGYN's right now (could use recommendations for that as well) and we're worried...

I'm a fan of Dr. Clutter with WashU. I see him for something related to hormonal stuff, but he is a thyroid expert. http://wuphysicians.wustl.edu/physician2.aspx?physnum=802

Dr. Gupta at SLU Care. Top of her field but also very personable. Might be hard to get in to see her. Her primary should be able to get the blood work done. OBGyn, Daniel Baumann. Office is very well run (important since you will be there so often) and the nurses are great. He is professional, almost bland but nice. Personally, that's what I'm looking for in an Ob. Good luck!

I LOVE this practice! http://womenshealthcareinc.com/obstetrics_gynecology_staff.php They delivered my beebs-I was only kind of high risk- but they cover pretty much every high risk category there is- plus the high risk lab/monitoring/ultrasound is right across the hall! Dr.Schaecher is my dr, but I've seen others as well- all are awesome! They deliver at St. Luke's (I can't say enough good things about the OBGYN/LD dpt there) or Mercy, (which I'm not a fan of since the mass exodus of experienced nurses after the Dr. Webb scandal) and MOBap.

I'd also be interested in this. Also, how have people's experiences been with pellets?

Just a FYI for anyone looking in the St. Louis area. Dr. Scheperle's practice will provide hormone pellet implants. His office is fantastic and they treat a lot of the local transgender population. http://universityclubmedical.com/ 314.862.7711
