You may have scar tissue built up in your calf, quad or hamstring and it is causing a pull on your foot or improper blood flow (which is what happened to me). Dr. Ducar can break that up, give you some exercises to do and other stretches that will really help.

I have been seeing John Holtzman for my very stubborn case of plantar fasciitis. Of the three doctors I've seen in the 2.5 years I've had it, he is the only one who has promised to get it back to 100%. Though we're not completely there, were at about 80%. I highly recommend him.

Debra F. replied:
Wendy if you have a foot problem requiring surgery I would recommend Dr Craig Aubuchon. He is an ortho who does just feet (if your his patient he will care for other ortho issues. He did my Mortons neuroma surgery,he removed a joint in my foot cared for my complicated foot fracture and did my knee surgery (acl and meniscus). The last three injuries bin the last 18 months. 24 months ago I tore the ligaments and tendons in my left ankle. I was forced by my insurance to use a podiatrist. I injured in February...was treated until June conservatively until I demanded further treatment. The surgery was a disaster.was sent to another podiatrist who basically said oops..I still have issues with the one foot operated on by podiatrist. I saw one for ingrown toe nails and plantar warts and podiatrist was fantastic for those issues.
