A friend needs a DC area ENT- who has a good recommendation?

I've been to Jack Williams at Feldman ENT - he treats WNO Singers often. If your friend wants to see his/her vocal chords, make the appt at the office on Wisconsin Ave in Bethesda (Friendship Hghts) where he has a larynoscope. At his other office, he only has the more antiquated one that they snake through your nose and down to look at the larynx. However, if it is for acid reflux, which is why I went to him, he, like other western medicine doctors prescribes Nexium and other mainstream treatments. For me they worked only marginally, and have negative long term side effects. I cured my acid reflux through diet, thanks to a wonderful holistic physician to whom I went. I'm happy to share the referral if interested.

Thomas Troost, who is now at GW, might be a good option too. He was recommended to me as a doc who often treats singers and specializes in sinus conditions. http://www.gwdocs.com/ent-ear-nose-throat-center/thomas-troost

I've used Dr. Nicolas Mehta at Medstar Montgomery in Olney. He did a great job helping me get through a persistent case of laryngitis.
Need a ENT recommendation for Max. It can not be Para or Bahadori….they no longer take our insurance…

Dr. James Lee in Ashburn... (as mentioned above) He did my surgery to correct my deviated septum and sinus surgery 3 yrs ago. I went from getting at least 3-4 sinus infections every year and daily headaches all year long to rarely getting headaches and no sinus infections at all in 3 years!!! He is a bit quirky and awkward but nice enough. His wife, Vicky Lee (allergist) is super nice.

Thanks, everyone. I need one - haven't had a voice in almost 4 weeks now. Driving me bananas. I have an appointment on Thursday with Dr. Seth Ohringer in Bethesda based on a recommendation of my doctor and who also happens to be in the same practice as the kids' ENT, so that was helpful. Hopefully I won't need more referrals, but if I do, I'll start calling these folks. Thanks!!
I've decided to finally have my nose straightened this year so I can breath through my nose like a "real boy." Any recommendations on good nose surgeons in the DC area? ...

I had my deviated septum corrected last year by Michael Reilly at Georgetown hospital. Very good, and cute too

Dr. Stephen Wall over on Washington Circle fits that set of criteria, and I've been seeing him for allergy-related issues for a decade now. Since he's the one who helped me with sleep apnea issues as well, I can highly recommend him.
well the congestion was a little better and now it's back different and worse than before. Can someone recommend a great ENT in this area?

Tara if it's something serious (I.e surgery) Dr. Stacy Ishman at john Hopkins treated my daughter (did her trach and other surgeries) and did an amazing job. Hopefully it's nothing that serious but if it's something like that I can drop her a line.
