Dr Rick Abbott. I had a multi level laminectomy

Dr Abbott was working for NYU Medical Center at the time of my SDR, he currently is on staff at Montefiore hospital in the Bronx

It was a multi level laminectomy Marsha. This is more invasive so more bone removed and less nerves cut. The issue isn't the doctor I think more that the technique has moved on and is less invasive with the ability to cut more nerves. I would only consider a single level laminectomy. Stacey, I had SDR with Dr. Park two years ago at nearly 40 years old. It is normal to be concerned about complications that may occur. The surgeon's expertise and technique (as Paula explained) are directly correlated with a patient's result. Dr. Park is world-renowned for both his experience (he has performed 3,000+ surgeries with no major complications) and single-laminectomy technique (which he credited for perfecting), the gold standard for SDR. I am glad you've decided to send in the application. Please contact Dr. Park's office regarding Botox. I believe your child cannot have had injections for a specific amount of time *before* surgery. Unfortunately, I can't speak for any of the shoulder docs specifically as I was there for spine and hip. However, I know a couple of the pro sports teams for DC use them. They have a lot of locations and most of the docs base out of at least two. If anything, they may be able to refer you to someone out in MD that they know of.

Bruce Bruce Hunt from what I can tell at this point repetitive use (way too right side dominant, picking up my son, massage, life etc). Chiro I went to was not a good one but he thought it was all my neck, loosing C curve. However, it's minor in grand scheme of posture issues I've seen. PT helped a lot - no more waking up in middle of night due to pain (there was no position that was comfortable). Now what I'm dealing with is tingling nerve stuff in my right fingers. I could go back but I'd like to understand what is really going on...

I think Dr Miller was my orthopedist for my broken foot last June- loved him! I hope J heals quickly. Tough to be in a cast in Spring!
