I’d be careful repairing a sixteen year old appliance. If it’s less than a hundred dollars than it may be worth it. Sometimes after about 7 years parts become discontinued and impossible to get. If you get me the model number I can try to get you the part number on the control board. XO ventilation makes some economical options. Make sure it will fit before you make any purchase. I am a licensed plumber and h vac specialist. The best brand in my opinion is Navien. I own and operate Plumbing Made Simple 585 267 6306. You will also need to check and make sure that you has piping is properly sized. These units can run as high as 100000 btus.
