Are you going to the Epilepsy unit at Cleveland Clinic? My daughter has been a patient there many times. I stay in the room with her. She is an adult now. There adult epilepsy unit has fold out chairs that fold into a bed. The rooms are private and you have your own bathroom to shower. It has been awhile since we have been to the pediatric unit.
Erin G. replied:
The Cleveland Clinic has patient coordinators to help for out of town guests. They can help you find free or low cost options. Also contact your local Epilepsy Foundation to assist with travel expenses. The Cincinnati Chapter here has a grant that will fund travel expenses (gas, bus ticket, hotel, food) for those that have to travel for treatment. There are resources you just have to ask!
