I highly recommend you stay away from Dr. Kowalczyk in Mt. Pleasant. It is a long story (he basically told me that my very well behaved children were not allowed to come to my appts with me, only weeks after my grandma passed away unexpectedly, my grandma was the one who helped me watch them during appts), but I've never been treated so unkindly by a doctor. I promised I would never return & would warn everyone I possibly could. Good luck in your search!! I'm certain there are some fantastic podiatrists out there!!

Don't allow podiatrists to do surgeries on your feet. Go see a foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon. This guy is a miracle worker.
