My son has congenital ptosis, which has required 2 different surgeries thus far and Dr. Hoover performed one of them himself, as he is also a surgeon at children's hospital. I would recommend him, for sure.

Dr. Hoover in Greensburg. Children's Hospital. Pediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus in Murrysville
Stacy L. replied:
We love, love Dr. Pav. He is clinically strong and great with children. We have been seeing him for nearly 10 years at the Murrysville location. The office staff there is fabulous. Just a note, however, if you are looking for glasses, here is my post from the other night. Lesson learned: NEVER use Walmart vision center. I thought it would be a great, cheap way to replace one of Adison's lenses. She needs a bifocal in her post-op eye. Well, first they argued with me that she has an iris in her eye. Really?! She's cured!! Then the bifocal was wrong AND they cracked the lens that didn't need replaced.
Stefanie M. replied:
I know several people have said Dr. Hoover but I also wanted to say how great he is. He has been seeing my daughter since she was a couple months old and she is 12 now. He is knowledgeable and kind. I don't know why Rhonda said he doesn't do glasses because he does that also, at least he does for my kid and lots of other kids I have known.
Colleen S. replied:
Call Dr Krupar and ask if they csn recommend someone.
Sarah-Jeanne W. replied:
Dr Hoover is amazing! My son has a lot of eye issues and Dr h has helped him over some so much that my son doesn't need surgery!
Jessica M. replied:
Dr. Hoover is great...but the only downfall is he is only in the office in gbg on Wednesday and they usually get behind...but as a Dr I recommend him, my son has been seeing him almost 4 yrs now
Rhonda L. replied:
Me. I'm an optometrist who specialized in pediatrics. I'm who Dr. Hoover refers to for glasses. Unless your child needs strabismus surgery. Then Hoovers your guy.
Rachael O. replied:
We got to pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus in murrysville. We see Dr Pav and he's awesome. Not sure about insurance but they also have a pediatric eyewear place
