I understood Tel Aviv but given you seemed to want to use only a bus I thought you might want someone closeby. http://israel.usembassy.gov/mobile//consular/acs/doctors.html#4
There are tourist clinics in Tel Aviv, like this one: http://telaviv-doctor.com/medical-clinic/ but I have no idea what they charge or who they are or anything about their location.

We've been really happy with Dr. Alex King at Maccabi Strauss (20 minutes walk from the shuk), and his new partner Dr. Martina Himmelburger also seems great. http://www.jerusalemdoctor.co.il/
Does anyone have a name/number of a gp that takes Macaabi and is open in the early evening?
Leora E. replied:
we are really happy at the Terem Family clinic on Gdud HaIvri (corner of HaPalmach). We are on Meuhedet, but they take Maccabi too. We see Dr. Kreiger, but we've seen just about everyone there and everyone is great.
Hi all, where can I go to get a physical exam for a job in the US? I don't have a GP here and will pay for it myself. Please don't suggest Terem. Thanks!

Dr. Alexander King on Strauss in Jerusalem is amazing. He is a Maccabi family doctor, speaks English, very attentive, easy to get an appointment even last minute. Good Luck and feel well!

I second Dr. Alexander King on Strauss. He's great. I have a chronic illness and don't always follow up on stuff, but he always listens and has my best interests at heart. And he is easy to reach with questions.

Golan service is atrocious. All the time my service goes dead for a few seconds, just enough where I need to reload a page 3 times to get it to come up. Or I hit send on a text message and assume it went out. Right? Wrong. I need to babysit it to make sure it goes out and sometimes resubmit it 2-3 times before it goes. I live in the city center of Jerusalem. If it can't work here, it probably doesn't work anywhere. That said, for the price you cannot beat the features. Unlimited calling to the US and 2 free incoming foreign numbers (that means people can call you as a local call from the US). Has many countries actually. I also love the web portal that lets you do just about anything without having to talk to a representative. Set up these numbers, enable / disable features, order a replacement SIM, etc. Their web portal is multilingual and easy to understand. They also just added on free roaming in a bunch of countries, meaning you can take your phone to these countries and just use it for free. 13 countries support calling, only 4 for text and data but they say they are in the process of adding more. The choice... Is yours
