The best very around is Leigh McBride at Sumter County Vet. While she is a sole practitioner she is the best. Breeders come from all over the state to see her. I used to drive 3 hours until we moved to TV. She is the best!

There are many physicians to choose from at Lakeview Internal Medicine. They have six different locations, so you could choose from the doctors that go to the location you prefer or pick a doctor and see which office(s) they go to and go from there. www.lvhcs.com or call any of their offices to ask questions or book appointments for any provider at any location. I have The Villages United Health Care Advantage Plan - Point if Service. Love it! My primary is Dr. Heidi Zimmerman - very professional. Stays right on top of my care, testing, etc. Josh Wittorff is my agent. Very responsive and knowledgeable.

It depends on your doctor. I know at Lakeview Internal Medicine there are people in the lab section that do ear lavages. They also have an ENT specialist if needed. But yes, some PCPs just give you a referral to an ENT. My grandpa’s doctor did that.

The reason I did not like Premier was that my doctor was Dr. Khanna, but he was never available when we arrived for our appointment. The service was very impersonal, and we often had long waits even with appointments.

A nurse recommended Dr. Sarah Gitte and I actually have an appointment on Monday! The other doctor she recommended was booked out until June for new patients!! I'm sure if she takes BC, she'll take Medicare. I'll let everyone know how my appt went. P.S. Has anyone had Dr. Locker perform hip surgery on your hip? I'm scheduled early Feb...kinda nervous!
