I've had good luck with Dr. Sher for my urologist. He is a good listener and addresses all issues I bring up. He hasn't dismissed any concerns I've had. He's on 101 behind the Walmart on 466.

Hmm I left him, didn't like him. Nice at first then bedside manners and changed diagnosis went right to surgery . I also looked into and seen Dr John Thompson outside Villages by hospital, great background and also came from Florida University Health at Shands.. however I think I am going back to Tampa for my procedure. I, too, go to Doctor Sher. Everybody's experience is different, but I really like the guy. He's very easy to talk to. He listens to your concerns and doesn't blow you off. I've had a great experience with him. I, too, have Blue Cross Blue Shield so from an insurance perspective you should be good.

I have found that federal BCBS is accepted in most Medical facilities. Dr. Rosato for Cardioligist. I don’t know about the Villages Health System, they may have their own insurance.
