Nemours is great. They have a wonderful new facility in Voorhees (near the Flyers skate zone). You should be able to get an appointment within a few days for new patients. Highly recommend Dr. Liya Beyderman.
Cindy W. replied:
Oh no poor Christina! Rothman Orthopedics is big on sports related concussions. They are located on route 73 in Marlton on corner by Whole Foods. They are excellent there! They even have a 24 hour urgent care that you can take her too. Good luck!

Dr. Colivata, in moorestown. He is actually a chiropractor but his main practice is headaches. I am a believer, my husband spents months going to doctors and in not being able to get out of bed and he fixed him.
Sue T. replied:
I use Dr. Orwitz and Keller in Lumberton. They listen to what you tell them.

Verna K. replied:
Dr David Lee. 609-714-7774 520 Stokes Rd Ste A-1
Tara B. replied:
Dr. Syrow at Cooper. She specializes in Migraines. You may have to wait a bit to see her bc she is the best. Are you on Topamax?
Anne P. replied:
My husband is a neurologist at HUP (thanks Cheryl Zoppina Ernst!!). Call the clinic at 215-662-3606. Not sure how long the wait would be or even if you'd want to travel to Penn. All my doctors are there and I wouldn't trust my care to anyone else; no matter how close or convenient. If you'd like more info, please PM me.
Patty S. replied:
Jefferson Headache Center Dr Michael Marmura
Judy K. replied:
HUP. Is definitely the best. Worth the trip. Can't compare, but I took my boxer to Penn vet hospital to get evaluated by a neurologist.
Lori H. replied:
Dr Larissa Syrow at Cooper. Has offices in Cherry Hill on Brace Rd or Voorhees at the Ripa women's center.
Roberta S. replied:
My husband went to see Dr. Colivata, in Moorestown. He. specializes in migraines and vertigo. My husband had seen every type of Dr. Imaginable and no one could find the problem. There is a bone in your neck called the atlas bone, which if out of place causes migraines and vertigo. His web site is njatlas.com. I am truly a believer that his practice works. My husbands would spend days in bed prior to being treated. I don't know if this is your issue but I just thought I would mention it.
Melissa D. replied:
Dr. Nei Jefferson hospital
Cherylyn B. replied:
My daughter went for migraines and increasing muscle weakness in her extremities she had had for years. Put on topomax for a miserable 6 months. Diagnosed with Chiari Malformation at age 20 (extra brain tissue that protrudes off the base of ur skull and basically gets stuck in the spinal column -- pronounced key-R-e). Operated on at age 25. Don't overlook this possibility if the headaches continue. She is soooo much better! Can be seen on an MRI but only if the doctor is truly looking for it so ask... Originally diagnosed by: Dr. Larry Janoff LMA Neurology Consultants 63 Kresson Rd Suite 101 Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 (856) 288-1735 Referred to and operated on by Dr. Errol Veznederaglu at capital health systems in Hamilton,
Dina R. replied:
I would only go to Philly. I currently go to Dr. Young at Jefferson Headache Center. Almost 15 years now. Before that it was Penn. Both are great but Dr. Young has helped me a lot. Of course back when I went to Penn, Botox was not around for migraines.

I have been seen by Dr. Dante, and Dr. Abidi in Maple Shade. In addition to multiple xray, mri, and CT scans, I have developed a further complication within the cervical spine. Trying to avoid a surgery at all cost, however, it is not looking favorable. I just do not want to leave any stone unturned. Thank you so much for all of the information!!!!
Melissa O. replied:
Capital Health! My husband works there and there is a great team of doctors. They are always educating themselves and researching. I can ask him for some specific names if you need them.

Chris R. replied:
Jennifer McKinney: Dr Stephen Brem did my surgery as well. Fantastic results, with a great surgeon. Bedside manner is awesome. Spent 25 minutes in a one- on- one with my 10 year old daughter to explain the what, why, how of the process. She'll tell you that she's wants to be a neurosurgeon now!

I went to Dr Steven Dante out of Penn offices in Philadelphia and Cherry Hill. He is a neurosurgeon. Not pushy at all. I tried several other methods for bulging and ruptured discs first b4 getting surgery about 6 months later. He came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. I hope you don't need to go this route, but if you do, please keep his name. He gave me my life back. Best of luck. xx

Need help finding a neurologist specializing in MS. I have tried every medication. I am now on Tysabri and it doesn't seem to be working. Any neurologist except Leist...
Angela C. replied:
Dr. Leist was a moron!!! I can't stand him. Dr. Greenstein is AMAZING!!! He has the Greenstein Neurological and Multiple Sclerosis Institute at Penn Treaty Park on Deleware Avenue. Dr. Lublin at Mount Sianai in NYC (#1 in country) even told me if anyone he loved was diagnosed he would send them to Jeffrey Greenstein. His number is 267 597-3830

Dawn Z. replied:
My hubby goes to university of Penn and sees Clyde Markowitz he is awesome !!!!!! My hubby has also been through most of the meds.
Nancy R. replied:
Do not go to Dr. Abidi, he's awful. My step-father had MS and that doctor is a quack! One of the major hospitals in center city Philly has a wonderful MS Center, I took my step-sister there and she's been doing very well since she was diagnosed. Nearly 18 years now. Sending you prayers for comfort & healing.
Donna J. replied:
If you try Dr. Ma in Marlton just know you will have a wait in her waiting room, she takes her time. On the good side she does have the best magazine selection of all the doctors I've ever seen.
Renee V. replied:
I agree on the Dr. Pruitt at Penn recommendation. I don't have MS but use her and think she is very good.
Brigid B. replied:
I sent a pm. Good luck. Finding a neurologist who is both good and you want to work with is finding a needle in a haystack. Takes lots of time and is frustrating but well worth it. I highly recommend NOT staying in NJ (unless they are a PA doc with an office here) and if you do only Dr. Barone (who I personally do not have a good experience with but have several friends who absolutely love him.) He is the only knowledgeable MS guy this side of the Delaware, speaks all over on MS.

Looking for a good local Neurologist for migraine’s?
Francine P. replied:
I can recommend two. I see DR. Bruce Lipsius in Cherry Hill (I believe he has other offices). I had migraines that lasted for days. He was very thorough and took me very seriously. Also, I second Dr Arun Kachroo who has a Voorhees and Lumberton office. Totally different doctors in style. Lipsius is more soft spoken and takes a ton of time with you. Kachroo is my fathers doctor and is more to the point...both are good!
Robin K. replied:
Dr. Seth Keller in Lumberton
Saraé W. replied:
Cooper Hospital has a great Neurologist on RT 70 in Cherry Hill.

Best neurosurgeon for the spine?
Denise S. replied:
Dr. Harrop...Thomas Jefferson Hospital...he has a NJ office in Voorhees as well as the hospital in Philly. He operated on my 20 year old son last year. From the minute he walked into the office both my son and I fell in love with him. He is very down to earth, easy to talk to, and doesnt talk down to you. He explains everything in layman's terms. He has a fantastic reputation as being one of the best around!
Hi all - any recommendations on a neurologist who specializes in Parkinson's Disease and Dementia? I'm looking to have a cognitive evaluation for Dementia for him, to...
Lois P. replied:
Dr Bromley
Denise B. replied:
We used Dr Sharrets of Lourdes Neurology. My dad was first diagnosed with Parkinson’s then Alzheimer’s. He also evaluated my mom for a change in mental status post-heart attack and found a recent Stroke on her CT scan that we didn’t know about. He was very thorough with them and then very honest with me about what we could expect as the Alzheimer’s progressed.
Liz M. replied:
Dr Seth Keller specializes in Dementia, he is on Rt 73 across from Virtua hospital in Voorhees.
Looking for a neurologist in the area. Any recommendations? Or even anyone in particular that you would NOT recommend? Thanks!
Troy S. replied:
Dr Lee in Ironstone village is great, but I don't think he takes insurance any longer
Jeanie W. replied:
Virtually Neurology group is no more..very recent maybe a month or so. My dad was a patient. They dissolved the practice. His doc went to Advocare which is out of network for him.
Looking for a good neurologist in the area/philly that specializes in epilepsy/seizure disorder?

Dr Leo McCluskey at Penn Hospital . One of the best !
Ken S. replied:
Dr Keller at south jersey neurology saved me about 8 yrs ago. I had brain seizures, trigeminal neuralgia, or something. Called the suicide disease. With his help I beat it. Don't know if he's still there but he is somewhere. Good luck.
