The place we take Chloe to for her shoulder and foot is amazing! They do take Medicaid if you need it. The phone number is 248-937-4947. Chloe just went through surgery there and they were all so amazing!

I also went to DMC specialists. Dr. Zavinsky did a surgery on my foot back in the beginning of May. My mother also sees him for fractures in her foot after a car accident several months ago. We both like him a lot. Very professional, very straightforward, and does a really good job of explaining all of your options while also giving you his professional opinion.

Dr. Bahu or Dr. Kassab, at St. Joe's. Orthopedic Specialists; 248-335-2977. Specialize in kids & sports injuries. Always steered us right - had over 8 significant injuries with 2 kids & both are doing great. May have to insist on getting in sooner than they say an appt. is available - they are in high demand (for a good reason). Be persistent.

Dr Schmitt at Huron valley has been doing my surgeries since I was really young. Always respected me as a child and made sure I was comfortable. Now that I'm older he's been trying every possible treatment before putting me through another surgery. Highly recommend for kids (coming from someone who saw him when I was 12-13 years old)

Dr frush (if that's not who u went to first). If not dr Kyle Anderson in west Bloomfield. I'm a PT and have seen many different outcomes and those are my go to ACL doctors.
Donna S. replied:
We went to Dr. Kohen at Bone and Joint specialists. We liked him, he just really didn't recommend anything other than surgery which has a very long recovery time and sounds very painful:( so I want to make sure we are making the right decision. Thanks to all for the recommendations!!
I'm looking for recommendations for an orthopedic surgeon to do a hip replacement. Has anyone had one done at Huron Valley Hospital?
Jon H. replied:
Go to Henry Ford West Bloomfield. Lots of great OS's there.

Dr. Mitchell at Huron Valley was my orthopedic surgeon. I was infected with MRSA during surgery and ended up spending a week in that hospital. Definitely do not recommend. He was arrogant and failed to recognize the infection even though I was very sick
