The 15 minute drive is worth it because the staff knows you by name, its easy to get a same day appointment and Dr. McEwen spends a great deal of time with her patients. Dr. Najem is our favorite. We like Amanda too but we won’t be staying. Too many front office staff changes, long waits and unfriendly staff who collect payments before you even see the doctor. Poor Dr. B spent over 30 years building a great practice and it’s being destroyed by Dr. H.

I absolutely adored Dr. Rizk at Oakland Pediatrics in Walled Lake. We were there for like 10 years and only stopped due to an insurance change a few years ago.

I left after Dr. Bocknek retired, I also loved Dr. Najam, but feared it would only be a matter of time before he choose to retire as well. We switched our 2 year old to Premier Pediatrics in Clarkston over the summer. While they are nice, and I've had no issues, it's not the same warm fuzzy I got from Bocknek or Najem. But, the rest of their staff at HVP was lacking, so I had to make the change.

Pediatric Care Corner is the best!!! Phenomenal care, excellent staff, exceptional physicians, patient and family centered care.

My son is almost 8 and my daughter is 4. Both have been going to see Dr. Irani in Highland and we’ve absolutely loved him from the very start! Both of my nieces see him also. He has a pager and any time we’ve ever had questions/emergencies (even in the AM hours) we’ve paged him and he always calls back no more than 5 mins later. He is awesome!☺️

Dr. Najem resigned. I’m not sure if and when he will be opening up a new office. I used to work there, and I’m very sad too. My daughters still have yet to find a new PCP.

That is terrible. We actually just had a problem today with the new staff at Huron valley pediatrics. I have already contacted Dr joys office. I have heard nothing but good things about Hartland pediatrics

We left Huron Valley Peds this year mainly because I found them to be kind of cold at times and I wanted to go to a place where the doc created a relationship directly with my daughter. At HVP they never seemed to directly address my kiddo and she is capable of answering questions. We’ve since moved to Pediatric Care Corner and have found them to be extremely friendly. Of course our first visit was for her 4-year-old shots so she may not want to go back but...

Pediatric Care Corner is awesome. You are more than just a number there. The entire staff loves what they do. We have been going for 8 years. 99% of the time you get same day sick appointments. Before you commit all of the doctors have a meet the doctor appointments during this lunch. As far as an adult doctor I see Clarkston Medical Group. I see Renny Abraham. He is a male but they have tons of doctors. The office is huge and it runs very smoothly.

Dr. Swartz in West Bloomfield is amazing with kids and Dr. Kohler in Commerce is a great family doctor in Commerce. She is both my husband and I’s primary care physician and we love her!

My siblings and my nephew use Dr Dhar commerce pediatrics! I also went there, everyone there are super nice and very informational. And answers every question you ask or send you to the right direction. My brothers have asthma and when they are getting bad, my mom calls her right on her phone to know what too do! And schedules appointments the day you call if youd like!

We just switched pediatricians to Dr. Joy from another local pediatrician office. We really like her and her staff. PM me and I example the situation with the other office. I just don't want to bad mouth anyone or be jumped on because of my bad comments on the other office.

We left another local office a few years ago to see Dr. Joy. Best decision ever

Pediatric care corner in west Bloomfield is absolutely amazing. It's at Pontiac trail and haggerty. I couldn't imagine taking my kids anywhere else. They care so much and always listen to what I have to say. It really is a wonderful place.

My youngest has a very complicated disease and she goes above and beyond to make sure she gets the care and specialists she needs. Her after hours number goes straight to her cell phone, so you have communication with her 24/7. It's very helpful with those late night emergency calls:)

Union Lake Pediatrics is amazing! I take all 4 of my children to Dr.Gorman. I have had her as their doctor since they were born. I also have family members that took their kids there as well and they are all adults now. She is an absolutely spectacular Doctor but also a wonderful caring person.

I have been going to Marc Bockneck for 13 years. He is an AWESOME doctor. All three of my sons are totally comfortable with him. He never rushes through appointments, answers all questions and is an all around wonderful doctor. Love him.

Dr. Boyle - Pediatric Care Corner. They have another male doctor as well now there too but I don't have any experience with him.

Dr. Bocnic is great, however he usually takes care of the babies. Maybe try a family doctor.

Dr. Boyle and Dr. Hornick at Pediatric Care Corner are both awesome doctors. My sons see both of them and they love them.

Both of my kids (girl 15, boy 13) go to Huron Valley Peds. We see several doctors there. My kids just went this month for their annual physicals and saw Dr Bocknek, He is great.

He was busy...sent in an assistant dressed as red riding hood....to check my daughter out....she checked wrong ear....ended up at Huron Valley...daughter had temp 104.........while in waiting room.at Bockneck office ..young mother with very sick child...homeless and no insurance.....doc had no time..assistant came out and sent her to Pontiac

All 4 of my children went to Huron Valley Peds and they all really liked Dr Bocknek and Najem. Now my grandson goes there.

Dr. Bocknek was awesome! My daughter saw him for years and he always took time to listen to her and didn't dismiss her.

Would NEVER recommend Huron Valley Ped. Not sure if she is still there but Dr Joy misdiagnosed my son w/a virus when he had a penny in his throat. It wasn't the misdiagnosis that bothered us though, it was the way the handled it afterwards. She denied things that she had said and was very dishonest. When I spoke to Dr. Bocknek he had the nerve to suggest that we knew our son had swallowed the coin but didn't tell them.

Miss Dr Purman like crazy! He was awesome! We switched from Dr. Bocneck to Dr. Purman. Didn't like the practice. Dr. Najem is awful! It is really hard to get an appoinment with Dr. Bocneck. It's hard to find a Dr that doesn't treat you like a number.

I highly recommend him or Dr. Najem they both are great, it has been hard for my 19 yr old son to move on from them.

I can recommend Dr Bocknek. He was my son's pediatrician years ago and we loved him.

Dr Irani. Was with Kostecke years ago. Too many problems with billing and then misdiagnosis with both kids.

Not Irani. Don't know the other doctor. Saw Irani when he was with Dr. Bauer...rude and didn't listen to me about concerns I had for my daughters health. When Dr Bauer was back in the office, he listened to me & my concerns and allowed me to have further testing to rule out the issue.

Dr. Irani has been our pediatrician for 15 years now. He was formally trained in holistic medicine as well as being a medical doctor. He offers alternatives when the situation calls for it. I have an incredible amount of respect for Dr. Irani.

I have called Dr. Kostecke TWO times after hours (both times happened to be New Years Eve) and she personally called me back within 5 minutes each time. I have also seen her in her own waiting room disinfecting the toys and surfaces herself. Not her staff... HER. We have been using her for 14 years and are very happy.

I have never gone to her office and spent less then 20 minutes with her. She does not overmedicate and always answers emergency calls. She even had me bring my daughter to the reception area of the hospital when she was sick to check her out so she didn't get exposed to germs in the emergency room. She wasn't even getting paid to see her! I really can't say enough about her, she is just an amazing doctor!
