Dr Kreth saved my life when I had my heart attack. The first time I ever saw him they were getting ready to take me to the cath lab so he could put some stamps in my heart. I see this man looking down at me and telling me that he has done thousands of these procedures and he hasn't lost anybody yet.

So tired of driving to St. Thomas Midtown for everything. Lately I haven't been happy with the way they do things. When my cardiologist left Jan1, it was the last straw. Have one more appt. and then I'm going to look at Centennial Summit and go from there.

I see Dr Abu and Dr Estrada at Vandy. Dr Estrada deals with Electrophysiology of the heart. Have they checked you for SVT( supra ventricular tachycardia)? What you are describing about your heart racing with no let up sounds like it could be a possibility.

I had SVT at 24 and was also an ER nurse at summit. They medicate me and I went to see Dr Kreth at Summit and was put on beta blockers, because I kept having SVT. After awhile didn't like the way I felt on beta blockers and didn't want to be a high risk pregnancy when I became pregnant, so I had the ablation by Dr Williams at Summit. I highly recommend him! No problem since:)

No time! I don't remember being down at all, but that was 7 years ago ;) I stayed in PCU overnight just for observation. No pain at all! I truly love DR Williams and work beside him now in the SICU and would go to him for any of my issues!

I highly recommend William Serafin as a PCP. He's not in the area you mention but he is so good that I'm willing to go to Green Hills. He is part of the Vanderbilt Medical Group there. He may or may not be taking new patients, but worth a call.
