I've used Dr Zhou at Summit. He's a great dr sometimes hard to understand. My dad had multiple brain and neck surgeries performed by Dr. Rex Arendall. Not sure if he has retired yet, and he may just be a neuro surgeon. But he was great.

Dr. Lim, I believe is how you spell it, at Summit. He may be in with Dr. Zhou, who we have also used.

Dr Zhou and Dr Lim are in together at Summit and Dr Lim does great with migraines!

I'm partial bc I work with them but the neurologists at Vanderbilt are very good. Dr. Kirschner and Dr O'Duffy

My mom sees Dr Lim, although not for migraines. But I really like his personality and philosophy. He called the cardiologist and told him he did not want mom on a statin drug because it was causing muscle weakness in her legs, and she's a fall risk. He's kind of "less is more" as far as medicine goes, at least with the elderly. I mean, all meds can have side effects and the elderly are generally on several meds, so he weighs the benefits versus the possible side effects and risks. I find him very easy to talk to. The nurse at one of the other doctors my mom sees (not at the neurologist office) likes him as well. She said he took care of her daddy for years and she thinks the world of him. I am not familiar with the other dr's in that office, but they may be excellent as well. I do know his appts are usually backed up for a couple of weeks at least.

Dr. Lim is great. I had a seizure when I was 30 weeks pregnant with my youngest child and that's how I came to know him. He was very calm and reassuring during a very stressful time. My mom has since started seeing him and she is very pleased with him also.

Dr. Lee at Southern Hills is good. DON'T go to Dr. Zhou. He mis-diagnosed me and I know of someone else this happened to with him. He came highly recommended but he really dropped the ball with me.

Dr. Tellaghani with Summit is awesome they diagnosed my mom first visit did surgery a month later and she hasnt had any pain whatsoever since the surgery and she was barely walking prior to surgery.

Are you absolutley set on seeing a neurologist? I saw Dr Robert Fallis at St Thomas but when it came time to do my Spinal Fusion surgery, I went to Dr. Michael McNamara at Vanderbit Bone & Joint in Franklin and I highly recommend him.

As a person with MS, I know neurologists...they are a different breed. I see Dr. Moses and I trust him with my life. He specializes mostly in MS, at Vanderbilt MS clinic. Dr. Uskavitch is a very nice and thorough doc as well, with Vanderbilt. He treats a variety. You can thoroughly understand them and neither is rude.
