Dr Burhman at the general eye institute. Amazing man gentle nature. Loves his work and very good with grumpy old men. Dad had his first cataract surgery in Dec goes this Tuesday for the other eye! He is an amazing doctor

Dr. Burhman for the win. The man has a heart of gold. He calmed me after a few bouts of optic neuritis. Good luck to you. xo

I am a patient of Dr. Jordan's on O'Connor. Very happy with him. I suffer from facial spasms and before treatment he had a neuro-ophthamoligist (Dr. Zackon) at the eye institute for his opinion. I appreciated the extra step.

If for some reason you are looking for a child - we are currently dealing with Dr. Fournier at CHEO and she's wonderful:)

My mother developed double vision in one eye and loved Dr Zackon

Dr. Chevrier in the east end.

There are all of the above proffessionals at the Eye Institute at the Ottawa Hospital. My neurophtamologist was Dr. Patel, (I think he's no longer there) but the Dr. that took over did a follow-up and he seemed very throrough....keep in mind it is a teaching hospital so you see interns etc too. http://www.ottawahospital.on.ca/.../Programs/EyeInstitute

Dr. Zackon I believe is back in Ottawa, I also had gone to the Montreal neurological institute a few years ago for a second opinion for optic neuritis, which has now resolved..good luck.
24 hours ago I had laser eye surgery and it went very well. I highly recommend anyone thinking about it to go do it.
LASIK MD in Ottawa were awesome.

Thanks Michelle Lepitre I can't tell you how much it is Shannon Johns cause it really does vary on the person and what kind of procedure you want done. I went for a free consultation which takes a few hours but they will look at your eyes and give you the full lay out. I was very happy from start to finish with LASIK MD in Ottawa, would recommend them to anyone.
