I'm personally not a fan of Dr. Judge. We use Dr. Correa with Carolina Foot & Ankle Specialist. (919) 846-1111 I know Jackie Snodgrass uses Dr. Tobin from the same office. Is this for you? Your like a running machine - I hope everything's okay.
Jennafer J. replied:
I have used Dr. Hodos. He and Dr. Judge share an office and are located on old 98, near the McDonald's. He is a good doctor and very personable.
Carol M. replied:
Dr. Judge. I have always had good experiences with him.

Dr Judge!!!!
Katie D. replied:
My husband and I both see Dr. Tobin. He's excellent! I just read an earlier post and saw that you're a runner. I am, too. Dr Tobin is an expert in sports medicine, which is why I chose him. A friend of ours who is an athlete had surgery done on his foot by Dr. Tobin and was very pleased.
Hello all! I need recommendations for a good sports medicine doc. I have been running for about 14 months and am experiencing some issues. I've got

Dr Galland at osnc is great too! He is an orthopaedic who actually understands athletes.
MaryBeth K. replied:
I second Dr. Pirigyi. He's the man! Really, really smart guy and he'll shoot you straight. He's all about fixing the root of the problem rather than masking the symptoms (i.e. muscle relaxers).
Jennifer M. replied:
Thank you so much for all of the suggestions. I saw Dr. Galland today and I felt like I finally got somewhere. He was encouraging and actually listened to what I had to say. Thanks again!

Dr. Judge - Wake Foot & Ankle is awesome !
Dawn L. replied:
Not a fun topic but I suffered from a horrible toe nail experience (chronic ingrown issues) after a bad pedicure for 10+ years. I saw several doctors and finally went to Dr. Hodo's office. He explained to me what exactly was wrong with it and basically helped me to decide to have it removed permanently (depressing for a 30 something who likes pedicures). He has also seen me for other foot issues (stress fracture). He is very nice, a little quirky but he does take his time with you.

OK - I give in. Who has a good podiatrist to recommend in Raleigh?
Kelley K. replied:
Mine is in WF... Dr. Hodos. Thrilled with him AND the staff. Didn't care for Raleigh foot & ankle. Just seem to keep pulling money out of my insurance company.
Jade W. replied:
I go to an orthopedist...behind Duke Raleigh... Dr Paul Burroughs. He is handsome!
Patti M. replied:
I have THE BEST podiatrist! Dr. Hauser at http://www.piedmontfootclinic.com/

Oh no :-( Maybe I can talk you into Altra Paradigms now. He's not a runner, but an excellent doctor: http://www.raleighortho.com/directory/people/show/carroll-kratzer
Abigail T. replied:
I second Dr Kratzer. He was great in the treatment of a stress fracture in my heel over a year ago.
Kat E. replied:
Why Podiatry, may I ask? WakeMed and UNC both have great Sports Medicine Ortho who are wonderful.
Steve D. replied:
Dr. Kratzer is not a surgeon. Dr. Logel is a surgeon in the same practice.
Looking for suggestions, referrals and a Pens win.
My husband has really bad heel pain. He went to a doc who was also sports med person but spent five minutes with him....
Heidi B. replied:
I had PF in both feet and it still comes back every once in a while using starting with heel pain. Freeze a water bottle and roll it under your foot it helps. Also arch supports. Go get a good massage. Call Kelle Tunstallhttps://www.facebook.com/kneadingzen/?pnref=lhc She help me a lot.
Can anyone recommend a good podiatrist in the Wake Forest area? Thanks!

Dr Judge. Wake Forest Foot & Ankle. 833 Durham Rd. in the Wake Forest Business Park. (next to McDonald's)
MaryAnn B. replied:
Dr. Judge, but depending on what your foot issue is, Pedorthist Ellie Penne at Sole Dimensions may be able to help you. I wish I would have went to her before going to Dr. Judge. Not that he's not a wonderful Dr. but I think the right shoes and inserts could have prevented me getting my heel injected and several office visits.

Dr. Bob is very good but he doesn't like to come as far as Oxford I had hm and had to change. He did refer me over to Dr. Kirsten Tillotson and she has been excellent. I would suggest contacting her. She is located in Roxboro.
