Dr Aguilar. The last thing I wanted to do after 10 years in st. Charles was switch ob/gyn. (I had already switched 2 times due to insurance -the group I was with dropped my insurance so I had to). I couldn't be happier. Dr Aguilar calls personally to discuss results. Answers all questions and never makes you feel rushed.

She delivered my sisters 4 kids naturally and her staff is on top of everything. She's a 24 hour on call doctor and will do anything for anyone

Dukane Obstetrics at Randall and Dean is outstanding. I've seen all of the doctors throughout my two pregnancies and yearly exams - you can't go wrong with any of the doctors there.

If you're looking for women, try Midwest Center for Women's Healthcare. They have an office in Sherman and one in the Immediate Care medical building on McDonald in South Elgin. I go to Dr. Korzen and she is fabulous. All of the doctors in the practice are women.

Dr Carroll out of cdh is the most recommended Dr for births/vbacs in our area! The Kane County ICAN meeting is tonight at 7 pm if your wife is interested in coming.

Dr. Harmon with Dryer. Love her. With my twins I didn't have the VBAC option having a c-section previously, but they are very forward thinking and supportive.

I can't speak specifically about the VBAC thing but Dr. Diamante was supportive of my natural birth plan and is in solo practice. She never missed an appointment and was there for the birth. I'm not quite sure how someone in a solo practice makes it work but she did.

Dr John Carroll performs VBAC. He's a wonderful doctor

I have gone to Female Healthcare and Associates for years. My first was a c-section, her head was to big. Dr said I could certainly try VBAC with my second. he did say if it was a boy, who tend to be larger, to plan on a C-section. If it was another girl, i could choose. Then he followed up with, i am all for the VBAC, but there's a reason you had a c-section for the first one, and if the VBAC is not a success, the recovery is not easy. It was a boy and I had the c-section. Heads were the same size since he was 5 weeks early.:-) good luck
