My wife has been suffering was diagnosed with PF several years ago. Dr's have told her there is nothing they can do other than surgery, but no guarantee surgery would help. She went to Epic Wellness (on 407 next to NTB)...They did stim on her foot twice...one month since last treatment, no more pain.

The other Dr (Dr Sandra Gold) is his wife. If you made an appt at the Flower Mound office, I think he is the only one that goes to that office. Also, I believe if you requested him, you will get him. They are really good about calling back online appts. They've always called back within 24 hrs. You will probably hear from someone tomorrow. I hope all goes well.

Footcare P.A. Dr. Gary Mashigian. Love him! He has office hours on Mondays and Thursdays in Flower Mound, but also has offices in Carrollton and Plano I believe. 972-691-3232. He has treated my teenage daughter for ingrown toenails and plantar fasciitis and we've been very happy with him and the treatments he has provided.

I also saw Davey Suh for plantar fasciitis. I had many shots if cortisone. I finally found a product called heel seats from www.footsmart.com These little blue heel seats saved my feet. I have been pain free for three years.

I had it too. Went to 2 different doctors (one of them being Dr. Davey Suh) with little results. The shot works for a while, but it pretty much will go away on it's own after a year or so. Do ice and stretching.

I have plantar fasciitis as well. I get my shoes and orthotics (orthotics about $65) from Foot Solutions store on 407 (next to Tom Thumb)....I would check them out first before purchasing expensive orthotics from podiatrist. Dr. Dora Achilles is the podiatrist I recommend. She is in FM on 2499.

At Foot Solutions they do a computerized foot scan of your feet so they can see how you distribute your weight on your feet. From that scan, they recommend shoes with the right "foot bed" for you. The shoes are more expensive but well worth it! I've been going to them since they opened (about 10 years ago). My mom drives over from Irving for them also...she is in retail and is on her feet a lot. She says that without her shoes and orthotics from them, she wouldn't be able to do her job.

Surely it is not just me that sees the humor in being a podiatrist and being named Achille? Reminds me of when my wife was pregnant with our first child and while looking at the directory to find the suite number for her OB/GYN we noticed one Dr. James Massengill. Had a good laugh.

Senior care associates is a visiting podiatry group that I have referred diabetic patients to. I am not sure if they come to Denton county anymore. They are great and come to the house and bill Medicare. You could call and ask.
