My daughter had her shoulder work done with Dr. rodosky in Pittsburgh. However, my dear husband Nick just had a horrible shoulder with subscapularis tear, biceps tendon, and serious things with rotator cuff. Dr. Raybuck over in UPMC Monroeville East did his and we were so impressed with his manner, his skill, his dealings with family, his plans, how he explains things, his follow-up. He has been fabulous. He is young and very skilled. PM me if you need more.

Dr. Ritigiano good surgeon but if your not recovering well which happens. Dont go there. I have had a hell of a time. And it has not been good lets just say! His Pa pam and staff are wonderful tho. But im 6 months out and having a horrible recovery not saying he did it wrong my situation waa very different. I just have alot of damage. And he just dont have alot of patience with me . first two visits after surgery great but because im not one of his normal healing patients we have had some issues. Back surgery can really be iffy and not everyone heals the same!

Steel Valley Orthopedics. All in the group are wonderful. Had a wrist fracture in January. Pretty bad break, had 2 surgeries done and outcome was great. Worked as an RN in orthopedics with them- great with all types of surgeries.

I just had my second knee replacement done by Dr. Dana Mears of greater pittsburgh orthopaedic group. He operates in shadyside. wonderful doctor.

I had the other shoulder done 9 years ago at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh. She did so much of a better job, Orthoscopic, much less trauma and post op pain. I'm in PT now. She is really good!

You want Dr. David Okonkwo. He is one of the best in the world. If you have insurance that UPMC will accept... He's your guy. I saw him for a few years before UPMC changed their insurance rules.

Try Dr. Joesph Marroon. He at UPMC in Monroeville behind K-Mart. I had 3 ruptured disc in my low back l-3 l-4 l-5, operated in 1987 and haven't had a problem since, he did a lamenatomy, was back to work in 7 months had 6 months of rehab
