I suffer from plantar fasciitis currently and Dr Bruner with Active Life Chiropratic has done wonders for me!! He recommended some insoles that were not expensive, rolling my feet with frozen water bottles and he adjusts my feet for me. Huge difference from where I started. (615) 758-7373

DEFINITELY sounds like plantar fasciitis. I will provide a link to Dr. Axe's EXCELLENT video on the subject at the end of this. I will also tell you that the things I did that helped me the most were 1) Seeing Beverly Staggs at ProActive Therapeutic Massage in Mt. Juliet for a massage. Her # is 294-9639. She was just able to stretch it for me better than I could on my own, so the relief came quicker. Also, she educated me about the actual cause, which was extremely helpful. I also switched to wearing Birkenstock shoes most of the time, and I have been symptom free for a long time now. I went to Dr. Nuss here in Hendersonville...I thought I had plantar fasciitis but they did X-ray on both feet and it showed heel spur. Same symptoms.

I suffered with this for a couple of years in both feet. It started because I was wearing flip flops one summer, all the time. No arch support and any kind and shoes with no support are the worst. My podiatrist is Dr. Rogers on Charlotte Pike downtown Nashville. LOVE him! He is older and a Christian man. He gave me the cortisone injections at first, and it helped. Then he recommended the orthotics. After the injections, I started wearing my Clark's shoes rather than buying the orthotics. Within a couple of weeks I had significant relief. Within about 1 mo. My pain was gone. The Clark's shoes are the best because they have firm support. Go and buy you a pair at Macy's or other dept. store and you will be amazed. You will need to wear them every day for relief. I told the dr. about them and he has started recommending them to his patients too. Good luck to you and hope you feel better soon.

Highly highly recommend seeing physiotherapy first. Podiatry typically will go for injections. Results Physiotherapy has provided myself and my patients with the best care and best outcomes. They have offices in MJ Hermitage and Lebanon. Typically referrals not needed to get started but will need one within 30 days.

I'm 35 and have the same exact pain in my heels and ankles. Is it foot support in my shoes, my weight or do I need another adjustment. Hurts all the time I can't hardly walk in the morning. Dr Liz TOTTY!!

Lori Sutton-Lukins my son has the same problem and I took him to a podiatrist. It's important for them to stretch. Place hands on wall and put one foot forward with the forward knee bent keeping the back leg straight. He should feel the stretch but not too painful. Hold for 10 sec and switch to the other foot. Do both feet twice and do this at least 10 times a day. I know it seems like a lot but it helps. Their muscle is pulling on the heel bone causing pain. This applies to adults as well. Glenda June Talton Morrow I have feet problems and the podiatrist recommends the same thing for me. Dr. Bushman at summit can provide shoe inserts for the problem. Unfortunately you can't wear flip flops any more, not enough support.

Podiatrist sounds like plantar faciaitis Dr. Suh off Hartman drive is great. He had my husband freeze. Bottle of water and roll it under his foot while watching tv at night. He also sold him some inserts for his shoes.

Dr Schuler did a good job in reassuring me that my PF could be "fixed" with the proper inserts - whether they were her expensive ones, or ones I found somewhere else. She tested all the ones I had tried, and only one passed. Believe it or not it was the WalkFit informercial inserts! I have 3 pair and have never looked back! (Online & at Target for $20; I got mine on eBay for $10. You buy them by your shoe size, so investigate at the official site to get your letter size, and take time for your feet to get used to them.)
