My 9 year-old is on the spectrum and sees Dr. Kyle Mueller once a week. Admittedly, I'm not recommending a woman in this women-specific network -- but if you're in a pickle, we think he's been great for our boy. http://www.kylecmueller.com/about/

Such an important story to give voice to-thank you! Even though not many people talk about it, pelvic floor concerns are SO common. Really awful that you have had to deal with this. Lots of wonderful resources here in Ottawa.... 1) I second Lisa Flanders from the OIHC (she also does 15 min phone consults if you have questions beforehand). 2) Andria Bell and myself facilitate the Ottawa Chapter of Birth Trauma Ontario. We meet the 3rd week of the month at the OIHC on Carling at Holland. (I see someone posted the link up above to the closed fb group) 3) For counselling I highly recommend Michelle Glover from Full Circle Counselling (she is in Westboro). 4) I also offer birth story healing-private sessions, workshops and online courses. It is based on my 15+ yrs experience teaching yoga and mindfulness practice along with Pam England's (Birthing From Within) Birth Story Medicine. birthstoryhealing.ca Thank you for reaching out and speaking about your experience.
