Is there anyone on here who can treat deep varicose veins on legs. Will it be covered by OHIP or Extended health care benefits?
Thank you

The Vein Clinic on Carling Ave. It depends on how thick they are if they are covered by OHIP I had mine done and they were covered.

Wow they've really increased in price. Mind you it was quite a while ago, and not at Dr Beaupre's but I used to pay $25 for at least 10-15 injections.
Ladies, let's talk about IUDs. Who here has one? Are you using a copper or hormonal one? Do we have any gynecologists in the group?

I'm on my 2 nd Mirena IUD (hormonal) one and it has greatly helped with my very painful and irregular periods. I rarely get one at all now and it's more achy for a day or two tops with some light spotting. I had major issues with all other forms of hormonal birth control. Pills irritated my stomach (tried several different ones) making me sick very shortly after taking it, Depo Provera caused major mood swings and weight gain, Allergy to adhesive in the patches and Nuva Ring caused a major internal allergic reaction. My gynecologist felt I was too young for an ablation at 30 yrs old and wanted me to try Mirena, I wasn't keen on it at first but I gave it a go and so far so good.
