I don't know for sure if he's taking anymore patients right now but you can always can my therapist at (602)-499-8063, his name is Issac Horton. He's a very kind and welcoming therapist who's helped me for about 3 years now. He also has a network of psychiatrists and other therapists that can definitely be of help.

Check out CBI (Community Bridges) it is widely used for drug rehabilitation there, but I go there for just individual counseling and it’s great. They have a women’s only center on broadway called Center for Hope. I recommended giving them a call :) 480-461-1711

Psychology today.com you can look up profiles. Also southwest behavioral health has a private pay and is client led for counseling

Wow Aj Thomason. I'm glad that Jesus helps you, but that was a really callous and inappropriate response to someone who is reaching out for help and support. Tony Padgett was very upfront about his beliefs and what he's looking for. I hope you can understand how disrespectful your comments were. Imagine if you had come here looking for a Christian family therapist and someone recommended that you just take an aspirin and try a little harder. It's not cool.
Alexandra C. replied:
Try the Find a Therapist tool (http://therapists.psychologytoday.com/rms/). You can search by zip code, then find folks according to religious affiliation, specialties, etc.
Amber D. replied:
Try Alpha Book store in Phoenix I'm sure they can give u a referral that will work for u
Kat M. replied:
Tony feel free to message me! I'm a behavioral health professional and might be able to point you in the right direction. I need a bit of background info though (have you been diagnosed? Or what are your symptoms/needs?) as there are different therapists for different problems. If you feel like hurting yourself please reach out to 1-800-suicide and/or 1-800-273-talk. You can also contact the crisis respond network at 602-222-9444

You might want to check out Piller Child Development, [https://www.pillerchilddevelopment.com/](https://www.pillerchilddevelopment.com/) They have a location in Gilbert and I believe they accept your insurance.

That’s tough. I hope you can get him the help he needs. Have an upvote for visibility.

I don’t have the name of a therapist, and getting into a developmental pediatrician’s office any time soon is super difficult. I have a kid with SPD and therapy worked wonders for her while we were trying to determine what exactly she had going on. I took her to Therapy Tree and they helped at least with some of things she was having a hard time with. There’s a location in Gilbert and they have a huge array of therapies and might be able to get you other connections in the community to further help. https://therapytreeaz.com/

Have you asked your school district for a special education evaluation? If you have concerns that impact your child's learning ability (and it sounds like you do), the district would be a good place to reach out to in the meantime.
KCCubana replied:
Visit the Raising Special Kids website. They are an amazing resource, and offer so many referrals, trainings, and support! They will have references for you for providers in your area that are best suited for your areas of concern.
TheCazaloth replied:
Is you child having difficulty at school? If there is educational impact you can request an evaluation from your Local Education Agency free of charge.
darkforceobsidian replied:
Call your insurance and see what different therapist's are available to you, and then call and see if you can get references.
johnnie_molly replied:
Yeah good call definitely stay away from the therapists! They against prescribing controlled substances. I had to make an appointment with one to prescribe me Adderall and they weren’t having it. I was thinking think in my head man I am in my mid 30’s been taken it for 10 years plus works amazing for me. How the hell are gonna tell me that it doesn’t work for me?!!
Need to find a counselor or therapist and don't know where to turn? Lifehacker does, and the first thing they list is "Dial 211." That's good advice.
