I'd try the [Rebuilding Center](http://rebuildingcenter.org/) first.
Cost Plus World Market have a big selection. They're obviously not old or antiques by any means but they have a vintage feel, they're not to expensive (you can always find a coupon online for that place, too) and they have a pretty big variety.

On a good day, you might get lucky at Village Merchants on SE Division. They have a nice selection of things, including hardware. http://www.villagemerchants.net/

Cargo used to have bins full of old drawer pulls and door handles for pretty cheap. However, when they first moved to the East side, they were lacking much of the inventory they had in the Pearl, but now that it has been a few months, maybe they have them again.

Where can I find a more modern version of this Mortise lock? We have some antique locks in our house we want to replace.
This is what they look...

Ilco makes one

If you are willing to mess with our exporting system, Argentina still uses mainly Mortise Locks, our main makers are Trabex, Acytra, Candex, ROA, and I'm sure there's another big one I'm forgetting. The formats might not be exactly the same, but for international standards our locks are cheap, especially with the loss of value the Peso is going through. Worst case scenario, you might have to change the keyhole and cover it with the provided faceplate.

Try looking at houseofantiquehardware.com. That's where I get old fashioned replacements

The only company I know of that makes these to modern standards is Accurate.

There’s a link to one of their options. They have an option for every door, but don’t expect Home Depot prices. You might find it much less expensive to replace the doors. Sadly, there seems to be a greatly decreased value placed on doors and hardware in home construction over the past years where in the past a larger percentage of the budget would be dedicated to doors and hardware.
An option that might require *less*, but some, modification would be European locks. If you can find a good source, their interior mortise locks are cheap (at least, the ones I’ve seen for sale in France are).

You are probably looking for something like this, unfortunately doesn't look like Amazon still has it. I ordered six of them a couple weeks ago. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MU6V5E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_9Xw.EbY60CRCR

Home Depot sells these on the shelf. Edit: Just saw you don’t want the warded key. You put a wrap-around with a normal lock OR fill the hole where that one came from and re-drill it for a normal lock. The wrap around is faster and easier.

Head down Route One. Start in Arundel, and hit up "Antiques USA" and the other one (on opposite sides of Log Cabin Road. Then keep going down Route One into Wells and York. Stop at every antique place. There are literally dozens.

The entire house, front yard, and huge garage/barn are filled with antiques at very reasonable prices. The nice little old man who owns the place is usually happy to negotiate. I've gotten a bunch of nice antique photos and glass there. He also has a rather large collection of antique/vintage Coke merchandise that I drool over every time I visit. Here are a few pics I took last time I was there: https://imgur.com/a/EIsaW
