ISO Endocrinologist in richmond. Specifically one that will prescribe Armour.
Annette K. replied:
If looking for a pediatric endocrinologist-dr. Francis with MCV Ped Endo.
Victoria B. replied:
Dr. John Clore at MCV. I used to see Dr. Castellucci at St. Mary's, nice, but never had good luck for diabetes management with him.

Rachel Madison Seivard
Peggy T. replied:
Dr. Peter Gent. He works slowly and diligently to get you at the correct level. That is the key to success with armour thyroid
Sarah C. replied:
I see Dr. Gent also for armour. He is very cautious and treats based on symptoms in addition to lab results. And will treat to very low TSH also. He is out of network for our insurance though, so Heather H McMunn, do you mind sharing who you see?
Kate C. replied:
Dr Kuno at VA Diabetes and Endocrinology
Eleina E. replied:
Dr. Gent is a DO and a general practitioner. He's wonderful and if you want a DO GP in the west end go see Steve Melhorn. If you want an OBGYN, see Kenley Neuman, who is also very good about not prescribing things I don't want. I think the key is to find a DO instead of an MD, although many MDs these days are becoming more sensitive to patient needs and holistic medicine. I have heard a lot about Dr. Iorno, and I believe there's a DO endocrinologist in her practice. I went to a DO dermatologist at Henrico parham the other day, and he told me there was one next door.
Eleina E. replied:
It is dr. Iuorno's practice but there are no DOs in there. I just did a search for DOs specializing in endocrinology and I knew there weren't many. You can do this too on vahealthprovider and then click on them and make sure there are no actions against them, for instance. Like I would avoid Joan Resk, but Lynne Stockman is wonderful. Michelle Ledoux is who I was thinking of, I knew her as a resident in Williamsburg but it looks like she might be in the military but look her up. I don't know all these guys, but if they say they do endocrinology, then go for it! You might call Steve Melhorns office anyway and see if he will treat you. I just adore him.
