Getting in sooner on your own is a challenge as most places fill up quickly even for established patients. There are always cancellations and of course favor. But Monday is a good turnaround time and usually doc offices calling get better times than patients. A NP at any office could probably see you quickly... Like · Yesterday at 5:27 pm

I see Dr Mahoney, she works with West end OBGYN out of Henrico Doctors Hospital, and she is amazing (though Dr Davis and Dr Dausch there are great too)! I've never seen anyone I didn't like, and I have a lot of issues in that area so I've seen several others to compare them too. They're all very willing to explain and treat you like a person not a chart. And, bonus, most of them are very gentle. The contact number is 804-282-9479 if you're interested!!

Try Dr Cella at primary health group -- right by JW yet in the back where parking is NOT a problem. She's great and there's a couple older guys in the practice too. Mostly older patients but heck, we are getting old too! Greg found her years ago and loves her, so I started there too

You look like you're well covered by all these suggestions, but I'll throw mine in also. Dr. Francesca Glynn of Internal Medicine Associates of Chesterfield. She's been my doc long before she moved out that way. Since she was the only one of 3 different doctors/ERs to correctly diagnose my meningitis, I followed her when she moved from Henrico Doctors. Need another endorsement? I suggested Dr. Glynn to Diane Chamberlain. D also loved her so much that she followed her to Chesterfield too. Dr. John Port and the practice's NP are both great too. Plus you know I have great taste in dentists.
I am looking for a general practitioner in Richmond. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Jay and I along with several of our friends, see Dr. Warren Koontz. He is in the building at Glenside and Forest. He is a Dr. You can trust, he listens to his patients and discusses what your thoughts are on diagnosis, treatment, specialists, etc... He even came by and saw Jay twice when he was in the hospital on his own time and wanted to know if there was anything he could do to help. 8042881800

Good diagnostic work, reasonable treatment, family friendly, likes to talk, remembers you. He is our age. Did not keep you waiting. Don't know if he still is in the practice.
