Tricia L. replied:
Kamm McKenzie - excellent! I see Dr Ashley Rush.
Kristen G. replied:
I've been going to Kamm McKenzie for years now. They have delivered 2 of my children, and I am getting ready to deliver my third. They are a large practice with 2 offices. Dr. Kamm retired years ago and Dr. McKenzie is only seeing gyno patients. If you just need a gynocologist, I would highly recommend Dr Saacks who is a member of the practice (though you can't go wrong with anyone there). I have never heard a negative comment about the practice. They are great.

Jena Hoh at Village Family Care is AMAZING. I have dealt with some chronic health issues for over 20 years. It was Jena that pushed and never gave up until I was finally diagnosed. She has called me from home to check on me,etc. To top it off, she loves Disney. That is all!
Becky K. replied:
We love Village Family Care, too. My husband usually sees Cefalu, my boys see Konopka and I see anyone there. They are all pretty good!
Kelly T. replied:
I've loved Village Family Care for years and think their providers are awesome, however, after SEVERAL instances of them not making referrals, failing to send records after repeated requests, etc, I can no longer recommend them. These have been for serious things that NEEDED to get treated and it was very frustrating to have a roadblock to getting care. Otherwise, I love Dr. Konopka, Jena, and Kim.
Kristi G. replied:
I first saw Jena Hoh, as she was available and I didn't have a preference but our crazy insurance considers PAs specialists (therefore a higher copay). Both Dr. Cefalu and Dr. Konopka were highly recommended to me by many folks.

Ugh I loathe Raleigh Family Practice Dr. Bean and Amie Clarke accused me of being bulimic and made disgusting accusations about me when I was 18 and knocking on deaths door. Thank God for an amazing GI doctor who told me I needed emergency surgery due to Crohns disease, not bulimia. I am still obviously bitter after 15 years.
We are looking for a family practice physician/clinic in the Youngsville and Wake Forest areas. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Since Dr. Combs left Rex Family Practice of Wakefield, I am in search of a new doctor. Any suggestions for a doctor who has experience with depression and anxiety?

Suzanne Thompson. She is in wake forest
Kim G. replied:
I switched back to Dr Kwark. She was my Primary before Combs came to Rex family. So saddened Dr Combs left. She truly took time with all of her patients!

I'm seeing Scottie in the group since Dr. Combs left. I do know 3 of the other Dr's left and are opening their own practice in Heritage area. Dr Warner, Dr. Curtis, and Dr. Tang.

How strange. I called UNC Healthcare at Wakefield this morning to ask for an appointment for flu shots for me and my wife. Appointments were made for 1.30 and 1.45. Service was prompt and efficient. No problems.
