My husband goes to Carolina Allergy, my son goes to Allergy Partners. Both are great. I recently read an article that when we are pregnant, we are exposed to things our mates carry because the flow of things doesn't go just from mom to baby, it also transfers from baby to mom, and since the baby is 1/2 dad, some of his stuff gets transferred and stays with us. They are thinking this could be how women with no family history of certain cancers develop them seemingly out of the blue. It was fascinating. Is there a history of peanut allergies in your husband's family?
Melisa K. replied:
Ugh, Allergy Partners doesn't take my insurance. BCBS Value. Guess I better check the insurance list first...

We saw Dr Deogun at allergy partners and had a really positive experience... ours is mostly food allergy related for my 7 yr old though... so maybe it's more straightforward than environmental allergies.
We see Wake Forest, NC' class='name_reco name_reco_color name_reco_color_3'>Dr. Judge. The Wake Forest hours are limited, but he has an office in Cary too that might get you in faster.
