I'm a patient with Emory cardiologists. My cardiologist is actually at St. Joe's but overall, Emory has some of the best I've had the pleasure to have. Stephen Frohwein is a great doctor. He calls back and even emails off hours.

I know it’s a little drive, but I go to Dr Medipalli in Gainesville. I had a 100% right coronary artery blockage, and she sent me to another doctor in her practice who removed that total blockage. Most doctors don’t have the nerve to do that. NE. Georgia Medical Center is rated the number one heart hospital in Georgia and it is in the top 5% in the nation. It out ranks Emory, Saint Joseph’s, and Piedmont. Dr. Tammala is the one who removed the blockage. You won’t be sorry you chose this group. also, please don’t let anyone do a cath If there is not an open heart unit in the hospital.

Heart and Vascular is really good. All the doctors are great and the staff is wonderful. I go to Dr Kakkar. he is very caring I had to call after hours once for my husband and I was called back in 10 minutes.

He was my 92 year old mother's cardiologist for 5-6 years and, now, is my husband's and my cardiologist. He is a talented physician and has a terrific bedside manner. He is great!

I would not recommend Dr Demarco his office is incompetent. I actually use one in Lawrenceville and if you want that info let me know.

Dr Demarco is an outstanding physician. He's very aggressive and proactive. He has saved my mother's life twice. Once, by aggressively diagnosing a lung cancer while other doctors wanted to wait and see and the other time was when Dr Steven James punctured her lung during kyphoplastic surgery. He stayed with her all night until he was able to finally clear all the blood and fluid from her collapsed lung.
