Turn in to Regency Center and immediately make a right. Take the access road to Burt Rd., turn left beside Taco Bell. The office is at the end of the road which is a dead end.

Looking for a dermatologist in Lexington.
I use to see Dr Martha Post & I would love to know where some of her staff went.
Someone recommended a Dr Phillips, but that...
Shelly G. replied:
I used to see Dr. DE Castro when I needed a dermatologist. http://www.daklex.com/content/Welcome.php
Cindi M. replied:
Sandy - One idea is to look on HealthGrades and find a dermatologist that has high patient satisfaction scores. Wish I could help more but my favorite dermatologist moved out of state. www.healthgrades.com
Alice M. replied:
I love Dr. Massa in Beaumont Center.
Jeri H. replied:
Ask for a NP named Gretchen Clibourne at Derm Associates of KY she is awesome!
Paula S. replied:
I knew Gretchen when she was with Family Practice Associates. She was Lucy's and my "doctor." We absolutely LOVED her and cried when she left to go into dermatology. She is an amazing and wonderful person!
Sandy L. replied:
Gretchen is who I had with Dr Post - that's great 'cause I just made an appt@DAK!
Looking for a pediatric dermatologist in the Lexington area. Our Pediatrician referred us to Dr. DeCastrio at Dermatology Associates. Anyone have other suggestions?...
Kelly R. replied:
http://myprescriptionforbeauty.com/#2602 This is her previous page, but I'll look for the new stuff. It's repackaged. She was initially targeting women of color, but works for all skin types.
Molly N. replied:
I have heard great things about Dr. DeCastrio. My friend's little boy had to have a mole removed when he was 3 or 4 and that's who they used. I had to take Andrea once and she saw a PA. The PA wasn't 100% sure what was going on and Dr. DeCastrio came in and took a look. I remember really liking him although it was a very brief experience.
Jessica C. replied:
Dr Keeling at Lex Clinic East was great with Gavin last week! Seems very knowledgeable and great bedside manner! He took Gavin's mole off without any tears!!!!!
Lori M. replied:
I've done that. None of my friends have recommended any that are covered. I'm going to have to take a stab in the dark. Wonderful. We'll roll the dice on Dr. Dana Black at Bluegrass Dermatology. Oh how fun!
I need recommendations for a good dermatologist that takes Humana. Not the zit kind of dermatologist, but the is-this-mole-gonna-kill-me kind.
Waddell H. replied:
I just started going here. caught some moles and they're taking care of business. http://lexderm.com/
Christina W. replied:
John Weeter might be able to recommend one. I think he would also say that if you have to have a mole removed you may want a plastic surgeon to do it so the scar heals better.
Curtis M. replied:
Dr Clifford Smith of Kentucky Dermatology and Skin Cancer Clinic.
Courtney M. replied:
John Roth or Clifton Smith. Both great!
Jill S. replied:
Dr. DeCastro at Dermatology Associates of KY
Amanda J. replied:
I go to Dermatology Associates of Ky. The guy I used to see has retired, but I've also had good experiences with Dr. DeCastro. I did not care for Dr. Becknell there though.
La B. replied:
I really like Dr. Laurie Massa, also at Dermatology Associates of Kentucky.
If you were able to recommend a good Dermatologist in Lexington, who would it be??

Carolyn C. replied:
I work at Dermatology Consultants. Go see Dr. Music, she's wonderful.

Ali T. replied:
Dr. Massa at Dermatology Associates of Kentucky is AMAZING!!
Ok I am getting on Michael's insurance so I have to switch to UK Healthcare doctors. Anyone have a good ob-gyn or dermatologist they like??
Allison P. replied:
I'm assuming Michael has the UK-HMO plan? Since I work at UK, I use their doctors. I just go to women's health (general practitioners) and they take care of my OB/GYN stuff too since I'm not pregnant and should not be anytime soon, lol. I see Aletia Farmer there, and she's wonderful (they all are, I've seen every doc over there at some point or another). I work with some of the OB/GYN docs for my job. I do really like Dr. Rone. He delivered my friend's baby (she loves him) and he performed my mom's surgery this past summer. My mom really likes him and she is pretty picky. I don't know Dr. Marcum well but I've heard great things about her as well. Also, UK has VERY limited dermatology. I am pretty sure there's only one full-time derm there since Dr. Hundley left. So they have agreements with various dermatology practices across Lexington so that you can go see them using UK's insurance. I go to Advanced Dermatology on Broadway/Harrodsburg Road. This PDF is from last spring, but page 3 lists the covered dermatologists from last year's plan and I assume that hasn't changed any: http://www.mc.uky.edu/ukhmo/UK-HMO%20HealthBeat%20OE_Spring%202012%20%28 corrected%205-4-12%29.pdf
Amber B. replied:
