Seriously...did you check out kyaniscience.com ? I have never personally had a migraine but i know people who, after starting on kyani, were able to stop meds. For me, its helped with nerve pain in my shoulders, neck, and base of my skull. For hubby...lower back and knees. Funny things start to happen when you overdose on nutrition!
Danielle J. replied:
Katie Wilson, kind of. Took my pain from a 9 to a 7 so o could nap. Neurologist thinks the meds they gave made it worse though. They prescribed pregnazone and I'm adding magnesium. I need to go back tomorrow for a nerve block. (20 shots in my head!!) I had a full panic attack over it so they want me to come back tomorrow with support:( Karen Kepler Zalusky, I'll check it out. Thanks

Can anyone recommend a good neurologist in WA who treats adults with SPD? I find that most doctors who specialize in this area only see children. What...
Trish T. replied:
Hi Eva:) Have you considered the Adult Autism Clinic at UW? SPD and Autism overlap in many areas. SPD is not in DSM so finding a specialist in SPD will be difficult. However a neurologist specializing in Autism will certainly be more likely to be knowledgeable about Sensory/SPD. http://www.uwmedicine.org/.../pages/clinic.aspx...
Does anyone in the Seattle area know of a Neurologist that is also a Naturopath?
Marlo M. replied:
Funny timing. Just yesterday, I saw an ad for Center for Healing Neurology in Seattle. Not sure if Naturopaths since I didn't look closely, but seemed more holistic and open minded than your general MD. Many MDs and are also naturopaths
David W. replied:
Thomas Tobin Jr., Naturopathy is unethical by nature. Naturopaths don't have a standard of practice. They can use any method whether or not there is evidence for efficacy or not for a medical condition. They also are not a science-based profession. Naturopaths may use some evidence-based treatments but for the most part they heavily integrate pseudoscience and nonsense into their practice such as homeopathy, naturopathy, chiropracty, healing touch, TCM, Reiki, etc. Overall, while many may believe they are doing good, they have abysmal rates of recovery especially in dealing with cancer. If they were to truly do no harm they would not be naturopaths but rather science-based doctors. Lastly, food is not medicine. As a dietitian I don't pretend it is but I do understand diet and lifestyle can be preventative and part of a treatment plan for many diseases. To learn more I suggest checking out https://www.facebook.com/354768227983392 Scienc https://www.facebook.com/928059107204368 e-Based Medicine and a former naturopath Britt Marie Hermes.
