I see Dr. Kildare at the Polyclinic in Ballard. She's personable, knowledgeable, and honest. My GYN is at the Polyclinic downtown, she's been really great too, her name is Dr. McDermont. My entire family (we have children ages 14, 10, and 3) sees Dr. Wiley for our dental care, and we are very satisfied.

The fertility and midwifery care center led by Dr. Stroud. Hands down the best practice in Fort Wayne for your wishes.

Cysts and cancer on your ovaries or in breast tissue are due to iodine deficiency. Most women do not get enough iodine. If you start supplementing with Lugol's liquid iodine or the equivalent Iodoral tablets, the cysts will disappear. Iodine from table salt or sea kelp is not sufficient. Most doctors will never tell you this since they would lose out on lots of profits. You can find more details in Dr. David Brownstein's book on Iodine, available at public libraries or Amazon.com.

I recently saw Dr. Stroud for a 6 cm cyst. He told me most OBs wouldnt even mess with it and would take my entire ovary without question. He gave me a shot of progesterone, repeated the US 5 weeks later and the cyst was gone!

Dr. Stroud sounds amazing. I had cysts on my ovaries and fibroid tumors at age 26 and there were no other suggestions but hysterectomy. Thankfully, I already had children but menopause at 26 is no fun. Does he treat any gyno issues?

If women would take iodine supplements per my suggestion above, all these female problems would go away, including female cancers. Most doctors are not iodine-literate and will not tell you about this. You can't depend on doctors to heal you, since they are in it for profit, not health. There are many testimonials on effectiveness of iodine in Lynne Farrow's book The Iodine Crisis. Please look into this if you want to feel better.

I also suggest Dr. Stroud. He and his staff are abosulutely amazing.

I like all of the dr's I've seen at Northwest Women's Healthcare. It's on Madison/Capitol Hill, so not right in the neighborhood, but I found them to be very good. My main Dr was Dr Tracy Johnansen.

I work for NW Hospital and suggest anyone in the NWH network because the facility fees are less than many other places. I see someone recommended Ali Lewis at Meridian. She's great! Although, she has a 3 month waiting list to get in right now. If you're not opposed to seeing a general practitioner, Christina Ryan at NW primary care is good too.

NW Women's Healthcare by Swedish First Hill: Dr Lauren Pray. I go to her as well as many friends & nurse co workers. The clinic is well run & the other partners are also excellent. 206-386-3400

Nancy Tipton at virginia mason downtown! I think she's just gyn, though, cuz I had to have someone else when I was preggers (who I would not recommend even though she always makes the top 100 list in that magazine). Anyway, I LOVE nancy Tipton!!!

I'm in the same boat Caitlin Johnson. I've had to many bad experiences at the hospital in town and would rather drive for peace of mind. Rory Shea its not so much the doctors in town. I have a family doctor here that I love and trust. It's just my personal preference of hospital....

I'm not trying to offend anyone and Caitlin Johnson is correct i'm not a part of the Butte classifieds b/c I live in Dillon. I just prefer another hospital for my peace of mind.

Seriously people. It's a question not a debate. It is allowed on the site and has occurred multiple times where someone asks for references for projects or services. Sami Guisbert didn't say anything except that she prefers a different facility. Barrett earned it's reputation. Nobody just pinned it on them. Many people, myself included, have asked about various products and services and been referred to Butte, Bozeman, Anaconda, Amazon.com etc. And nobody complained about that. As far as written complaints. ..Barrett has their share. I have personally filed 3

I am highly recommending Dr. Mclaughlin! I saw him with my last and am currently seeing him now for this one! You will not be disappointed, I've never felt safer and more welcomed by a dr. And appointments on Monday are in butte, just deliver in Anaconda..

I also can't recommend Seattle OB Gyn enough! Dr. Daniel was mine and Dr. Koala delivered my baby and everyone else I've seen there is great!

Jenn Nourse we also had to do a vacuum. I only gained 25 lbs and who would have known the baby was 9.5 lbs! Long story short we gave it a shot and she told me we only had one more try or we were going to have to push him back up and do a C-section. Luckily he came out then but she was amazing.

Dr. McKeever!! At Seattle OB-Gyn. She's amazing. Amazing amazing. She wasy doctor throughout bott pregnancies. She actually delivered my 2 nd baby. She's great.

Dorcas McLennan at Swedish Ballard is super skilled and delivered my surprise VBAC baby (she was scrubbing in to do a c-section on me but my kid had other plans) but honestly does not have a great bedside manner. That said I'd have her deliver any baby for me. I felt calm in the midst of fear and anxiety bc I knew she would do the best job.

Dr. Judy Kimelman at Seattle OBGYN. Awesome doctor and great surgeon in a crisis, and the only better surgeon has a horrible bedside manner and disposition-Judy is all-around back

I love Dr Jennifer Melville at NW Women's Healthcare. She is great and everyone in the practice is fantastic.

Dr. Melville is also great! She and Dr. Pray are both at NW Women's and though Dr. pray was my dr, Dr. Melville ended up being the one who delivered y last child!

I hope this is not unwanted. I loved my team of midwives at Group Health. The woman who delivered my baby had about 8,000 deliveries under her belt. Good luck on finding your OB!

Seattle OBGYN all the way. I love Dr. Kimelman, who is amazingly skilled, but I had so many starts and stops that I think I can vouch for almost every dr there!

Carol keenholt (sp?) at Queen Anne med associates is awesome! Really. So kind and thorough. For gen gyn care, not ob. She's a nurse practitioner I believe.

Dorcus McLennan was my OB/GYN and delivered my daughter - she totally trusted me with my pregnancy, even when I told her I was running a marathon at 5 months pregs. And in the end, she let me try for a vacuum birth instead of a c-section, even though she recommended against it. She was an artist and got our daughter out safely and quickly when things were deteriorating quickly. She's pretty straight forward, no frills, which I loved.

Love everyone I've seen at Seattle OBGYN, especially Dr Foltz.

Dr. Ann Bridges at the Polyclinic at First Hill (with delivery rights at Swedish First Hill). She helped us with all three kids and I adore her. She has been named one of the best OBGYN's quite a few times. She became almost apart of the family:)

Dr. Heather Moore, OBGYN, in Bellevue. Great doctor, I love her. Easy location and parking as well. Any blood draws are done right in their lab their so I never have to go someplace else for tests. Or, a great general doc, Scott Tyler in Bellevue. Smart, interesting guy. Easy location and parking as well. Schedules his patients far apart so you don't have to wait and he has plenty of time to talk and answer questions.

Look for Jodilyn Owen in Seward Park. She is a midwife who will often provide prenatal care for women who prefer to have hospital births. This might be a good option for you. Her practice is called Essential Birth & Family Center.
